IP addresses when ranking in a certain country

Wrong... You would prefer backlinks from sites with Italian content, domain name extension and especially hosting does NOT matter at all. It just so happens naturally that most sites with Italian content are built on .it domains, that doesn't mean the .it extension is reponsible for higher rankings, it's the Italian content, or simply content relevance - always was and always will be.

LOL... I thought you were talking about the website IP-s. No, it doesn't matter, because Google CANNOT track that kind of information, only you and your host can.
