Best source to learn and what to learn first? (Newbie SEO)

Hi guys,

I am starting to learn about SEO/SMM, I would like to know where/what is the best source (blogs/course) to learn SEO and what should I learn first?

Could someone make a path like Search Engine Working> On site > Link building or something like that?

I am a little lost here right now.

If you are just starting out with zero knowledge I suggest buying a book on the topic and reading it. Amazon has plenty, and that should give you a general idea of the landscape. Then you'll know enough to start absorbing more from this forum with less confusion. Otherwise you can use the search bar on this forum to search for guides. Search terms like Guide, How To, and Learn and some stuff will pop up. But I still suggest that if you are starting from absolute zero you read a book first.
