Need help with php

Hi all. I am currently using Wordpress for all of my websites. Here is the problem. I need to track my visitors via php because when I track the visits via any of the plugins there is not shown any visitor because I am using redirect via .php file and they not count asdsad .com /some.php file even that is the first link visitors are clicking and after that they have been redirected to another url. Please post any full script cause I am really noob with php.

If this is your current understanding in PHP, then you should step back and learn this area a bit more. It always involve intensive troubleshooting and debugging thus saving your time to start a thread

If your visitors are landing to some.php file, just at that file before you redirect them (so that you can count it) add any counter code you can use any free codes from sites like histats or statcounter and that should work for you.

Thanks for your answer. But when I am trying to add the histats javascript code in the php file I am always getting errors on line etc. I have tried to add it outside the php tags but it's not working. When it's added in the beginning I am getting error. When I add it in the end it's not tracking.

What type of error are you getting in what situation?
Do you have any errors in your error_log file or they are shown on that file?

I am getting errors when I am opening the domain com/php.file.
