My name is Mike and I am here to learn the mystical arts of internet marketing. I am currently going back to school to learn web development , and have some skill with Ruby , HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I make a little money as a sculptor/potter ( my hobby ), which along with my crappy PT job funds my education and gets my bills paid.

I have been lurking around here for about 4 months ( and watching lots of videos on Youtube ) and finally made the decision to get serious and throw my hat in the ring so to speak. i have spent that time reading lots of posts and guides and really trying to get a firm grasp on the basics and the broad strokes ( how it all fits together, terminology, etc. ), as well as formulating a plan for my first moves in the field of IM. I am currently debating two lines of initial attack... A) purchase a Micro Niche bundle from one of the fine purveyors here in the marketplace ( I have my eye on like 3 different sellers but I need to read through the full posts regarding their services for reviews and such ), or B) try to develop my own site straight out of the gate ( Amazon Affiliate or Micro Niche ).

My starter goal would be to get this first site making between $3 to $5 per day, then both continue building on that site and develop a new site. My overall goal is to reach 1k per month so I can leave my PT job ( and if the gods smile on me and i start doing really well maybe even consider a school/career change ).

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you guys in advance for any advice or constructive criticism you would like to share with me.I would definitely appreciate any words of wisdom regarding goal feasibility or keyword research ( which i have done for a few niches I had ideas about but without knowing the proper metrics to analyze and what exactly I'm looking for has been kind of rough ).

You are already earning 3$ to 5$ day is good and keep going. Yes Amazon affiliate websites and Micro Niche sites are good and best idea to earn passive income from online nowadays. so you can start with that.

There are lots of things when you coming to keyword research, we have to check competitor metrics and mainly their on page seo. If they are failed in their on page seo and small site, you can beat them and can earn 1k per month easily.

Good low competition keywords+ Nice Design+ Awesome content+ Proper SOE= Passive Income
