The Ultimate Teespring Guide To Making $$$!

I've read the entire thread and it seems like you really need to hit the right design and the right niche to get anywhere. I see the other BIG problem with this method is the waiting time, which puts off the customers. Waiting for a t-shirt 3-4 weeks is super off-putting.

Has anybody tried resolving this problem by perhaps shortening the length of the campaign?

I came across TeeChip, where the minimum goal target is 1 shirt. If you set the campaign to 7 days & the minimum volume to 1, then the t-shirts are with the customer within 1.5-2 weeks of ordering. You can even set the campaign length to 3 days, but this would make marketing messy as the URL Link to the campaign would be different once you re-run the campaign. Unless, you blackhat yourself into keeping your post on top of the FB Group as an example & keep changing the link, but this won't be straightforward either.

What do you guys think? Have you come up with another solution on how to shorten the delivery time? Unfortunately, all websites similar to TeeSpring require you to wait until the campaign is over.

Shortening the time is possible if you and your friends/relatives buy the first 3 or whatever is the minimum immediately.

10 Facebook accounts with 10k likes fan pages is good for seller, especially T-shirt. The more 10k likes fanpage you have the better chance you enrich your customers and seeding together in same niche.

T-spring is really really saturated, the off change that you will bank is so small... You will have to hit a trend and have a great design and design a great add and target the right group of people at the same time, it is next to impossible because of the HUGE competition, especially when your starting out.

I have done it for a view months, made some $$$, learned how to use FB ads, but people on FB are not buyers, sure they respond with i want this or i need this, but they never act on it, not even when i engage them, also people on FB have seen all the shirts already, it is really really hard to sell Tshirts on FB because millions of other people around the world are selling too, want my modest advice? if you're not making money in Tshirts right now.... Get out!

If you're thinking of getting in bring a big bankroll with you cus you will need at least $1000 to learn FB ads and changes are big that you wont make a dime back of that first $1000, I put in $1500 and made $1750 back after a month of trying to figure this out, trust me there are much better ways to make money online with an investment like that, Tshirts isn't it.

I share your sentiments. I once paid $400 for a course on teespring and that was back in 2014. Huge waste of money. And at that time, teespring was already on the way to becoming saturated, I can only imagine how it must be now. Never made a dime with any of it. But it's like you said, people on FB aren't buyers for the most part, they're there to socialize, not to buy.

And unless you can design something very unique and trendy, good luck because you'll never hit it big with teespring. There's definitely much better and easier ways to make money online.

This method is really gold. I've been having amazing success with this. I'd suggest to just try it. Don't listen to people who say its saturated. Ecom is saturated, CPA is saturated, Everything is. It's a similar mentality of "well there's no point of starting a business because there are other businesses out there already". Id suggest to just take action and give it a go.

I'm assuming you've seen some recent success with it?

Yeah, lots of it. Its not hard once you begin doing it. The two most important factors are the design and targeting (where most people fail).

Spying is a great way to succeed with this

spying as in looking at what works for other people? Are there any good "spying" tools

Have you come up with another solution on how to shorten the delivery time? Unfortunately, all websites similar to TeeSpring require you to wait until the campaign is over.

I'm afraid that's the biggest turn-off for the buyers - the shipping and the amount of time it takes for them to pay and get the shirt in their hands. BTW Teechip is notorious with often not shipping some orders at all - but the profit margin is wayyy better than teespring. Also there is a lot of negativity regarding teechip on the web - if you google teechip, all sorts of scam alerts will come up as top results suggesting never to order from teechip :/

Teespring has been one of those topics that hasn't been discussed much in BHW but theres some big bucks to be made from it. I have been doing teespring for a while now and its about time I shared all my tips and tricks with the BHW community.

This is gonna be a long guide as I am going to try to cover as much as I can so please bear with me. Also I am going to give out all the tools I use as well so you won't have any issues with designs/ads etc.

Okay so lets get started.

First of all you will need to do some niche research. This is how I like to do it.

Go to http://teeview.phatograph.com/ and choose "Only Active" and "Best Selling by Ratio" and you will get whats selling as of now. So now you know whats selling right now and you can easily design a tee design or heck just copy the text and change up the design. Its pretty simple.

Well I don't want anyone to give up just because you might have to spend hours researching so I will just give you some evergreen niches to work with.

A) Engineering
B) Nurse
C) Divers
D) Bikers
E) Tattoos
F) Celebs
G) Trends

Those are some ever green niches that will always sell and the market is so huge so anyone can get it with a new tee design and bank. Always remember to cash in on whats trending. Lets make it even simpler with an example. Right now gay marriage has been approved in America. So simply make a tee with " Love Wins " and I guarantee you will sell at least 20 to 50 tees today.

Example -

N2YYYu9

The key is to find a design in a niche where the people are passionaite about. Also lets say you have idea for a niche and you want to test it. Its also really simple. Go over to teeview and type in your keyword. Suppose your tee idea is in the weight loss niche. Type it in and see what are the stats. Remember if someone was able to sell something so can you.

Teeview is more then enough to do some killer research.

Okay next up designing. Here are your options -

1) If you are a good designer then you can design in PS yourself
2) You can use Teespring's custom designer
3) Hire someone from Fiverr/99 designs

I have my own team so its not an issue for me. But since you are just getting started I will highly recommend Fiverr then expand from there. If you really believe in your idea 99 designs is the way to go because remember you will only need one winning design and you will bank hard!

I know this can be demotivating as well that you have to wait to hire a designer or buy designs. So here is a pre made template pack that I bought which will work with almost every niche -

Now that you have your design ready upload it to Teespring but what is the best desciption/colors/pricing etc. No worries I will give you exactly what works best.

Description -

"Supplies Are Limited

Not Sold In Stores

Guaranteed safe and secure checkout via: Paypal | VISA | MASTERCARD

Click Reserve It Now to pick your size/style/color and order"

Color -

Black is most converting color unless you are going for a female based niche where pink is the most converting one.

Pricing -

This is not an IM product where 7 is the magic number. Your pricing has to be generic. Ideal price points are $19.95, $22.95, $24.95. It will vary from niche to niche but I am sure you got the point.

Time Frame -

7 days. It gives you the perfect time to test out your design as to what is the conversion rate and how is the response.

Now that you have your tee ready its time to promote the shit out of your tee. So lets cover the marketing aspect of it.

Free Marketing -

This is something I have seen no one do as of yet for teeshirt but I have cashed in hard from this method and it works like a charm. Let me explain how it works. Lets say your tee is about Weight Loss. First thing you will need to do is find a popular weightloss page. Then simply comment on the latest post with your tee. You can do it with a dummy account or a targeted page in that niche. Heck let me just tell you the best way to do it. Make the name and image identical to the page you are commenting on what it does is make the users thinks its the admin giving the tee. I will highly recommend the second option as doing so will keep bringing likes to your page and thats what you really want to make money from these people on the long term but anyways back to the method. So once you make a comment like " We just introducted our limited edition 'niche' tee. Get it here - *link* " But why will people click this? Here is the blackhat aspect of it.

Now you have to rank your comment up and it will stick there. A thread was shread by AnonLEO and its the best way to do it for Free -

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/facebook/740178-method-how-rank-up-your-comments-facebook-free.html

Once your comment it on top you are gold. You will get MASSIVE amounts of sells from there thoughout your campaign for free! For all of you who don't wanna get into Fb ads this is the simplest way to bank right from the get go. But lets take it a step further. Once your campaign it done just edit out the comment with a new link for the same design or test out a new design. The possibilities are endless.

Paid Marketing -

Before I explain how to go forth with this. Here is tool I use to analyze my competitors. Its a paid chrome plugin that I bought but like I said I want as many of you as possible to take action from this so no one has to pay a dime. It works like a charm. You can even find new campiagns with it but what I like to do it find the most converting ad and this works wonders.

Salespage -

Its pretty self explanatory so play around with it and you will get the idea.

Now lets get down to FB ads.

Ad Creation

500px X 500px shirt on white background/ad image no border/red border
PPE (post page engagement)

Upload image to fan page and write following copy:

Limited-Edition - Not Sold In stores
Buy here=> [insert_URL_here]
Also available in other styles:
Buy here => [insert_URL_here]

Choose newsfeed only

Set ad budget to $20/day on the first day (after 12pm set budget to $10 to gain edge rank, then $20 the next day).

Kill at $5 if you DO NOT have a 6-8% C.T.R. and make sure that 10% of "Likes" are commenting/tagging their friends and sharing. Keep going if you have one sale.

Kill at $10 if you haven't sold a single shirt. Keep at $10 if you have.

Kill at $20 if you have only sold 1 (or multiple shirts) from one single order. Keep going if you have sold 2 (or multiple shirts) from two or more orders.

If you don't sell but still getting a high C.T.R (8%+) and low PPE (.02-.05) you know your design is bad.

After countless testing these are the rules that work best and you can be positive you will get a huge ROI if you do this right.

Target Audience

Search in Facebook Audience Insights for female rich niches as females buy a lot more tees then men.
High affinity score (no less than 30)
Age: 21-45
Activity > Ad clicks: Above 30%
Size 100,000-200,000 (scale up later on)
Save Audience
Graph Search "interests" and then click on pages for a huge list of ideas
Do not choose interests with capital letters only lower case (precise interests).
Blogs, websites, forums, reports are PASSIONATE.
Once you have a hungry audience keep showing them new shirts!

Also don't forget to add a conversion pixel and a retargeting pixel to your campaign.

Next is scaling up

If you really want to make the big bucks you have scale up. You have to keep rolling out new designs and tweak and test your ads. Also the biggest factor to remember is you will need ONE winning design to cash in. Trust me on this one as I have done it myself. Doesn't matter if you lose thousands on ads; that one design will bring in 10x the money you will lose. The trick is to finding new audience for your tee which is also really simple if you choose the right niche.

Final Words

Don't be afraid of testing your tee idea. You will be surprised as to what kind of tees has sold thousand of pieces for me. You can make 1 generic tee page for all your tees or go for a niche based approach. If you choose the second option keep increasing the fan base so in the future you can post a link a link and you will get instant sales. Now go on and TAKE ACTION!

that autoliker didnt work anymore

i have a page of 12k likes on Facebook. Can you please tell me how I can promote a tee spring link on my page ??

The Amazon link was dead before I heard of the opp so if the integration is dead in the water, so is this venture as a sideline before it could even be made useful for me to try. I might considering teespring for other reason (a fundraising project) but the golden method seems to be dead if not revived. T spring has probably as a result just cost themselves 10k in revenue lost over 6 month they could have gained simply working with me alone.

I will give it a try. But am sure those with best sellers on teespring marker the product out side teespring.

but popular pages not filter out URLS and the URL will only shows to you :(

OP, you've done a good job by sharing this info. But some peolpe still need further clarification in generating sales and the account settings.
