Hey guys,

I'm investing in a ton of SEO for an Instagram Growth related business I run.

Currently buying high quality back links, but recently decided to look into getting a feature on Forbes.

Cost is ~ 3k

The business is profitable enough to be able to afford it. I just want to know if it's a solid SEO investment, and if not, what are the real benefits?

I would think 10 $300 links are worth more than any $3k link, but I'll let the big guys chime in :)

I would never, in a million years, buy that link purely for SEO.

As @drewp123 mentioned, having a lot of "cheaper" (Still expensive) links is better than one.

I'd only go for big links like that if you're after the "look at my business, it's on forbes" aspect.

Agreed. Forgot to mention that aspect. You get the "Featured On" benefit and possible referral traffic. Regarding link power though, it's a 99% no.

I second this guy. The quantity matters at first and then you can spend 100-200-300$/ for a quality link if needed.

I went with the expensive $3k authority links route myself however I don't think 1 or 2 links from those sites will do the job. I'm personally doing 30-40 links to get the full benefits. I've seen it work before.

That's what I'm planning on doing? Smart move or nah?

Only if that link is actually going to bring you traffic. Because otherwise its nofollow it has some value but nowhere near the value of that pricetag in my opinion

No one should pay $3k for a nofollow link. That's why you wanna skip huffington since that one is nofollow. Majority are all bunch of juicy do follows. Also all the articles should be related to your content.

Don't buy only forbes you can more links from other Authority Websites in 3K you can buy guest post from other websites and also post will shown on Home page which Gives traffic to your website.

Don't do that, you can invest your money better on guest posts on other websites!

Get a nice homepage link on a handful of sites.
Be a big fish in a smaller pond, than a tiny fish on Forbes.
