I completed all your phases and am finally getting some commissions! It took a while (9 months), but I'm getting a lot of good, organic traffic.
Been seeing ~100 uniques/day to my site and making $5-15 / day through Amazon. Looking to scale this up because I've got about 60 published pages that are ranking for some good long tails.

I used a php script which looked for their location and redirected them accordingly. UK visitors to Amazon.co.uk etc

Every day, I wake up wondering if I'll ever make money online. Followed this guide to the letter and started my affiliate site 3 months back and still, I haven't managed to make a dime off it. Make sure your site doesn't take more than 5sec to load on computers and not more than 3sec on smart devices. this is the number one cause for bouncing then I suggest you reconsider the matching between your keywords and the landing page and finally check if the landing page is simple and clear at first sight.

There is word press plugin for amazon affiliate in different country, you put your affiliate code in there, it will redirect to different amazon site.

I'm testing the system for introducing cookies from the amazon affiliate link. For 2 days I received 1000+ clicks on the product at my link with Conversion 1.5 - 2%.
I show people the product of the Amazon, in almost 100% of cases they click on the link. The percentage of these people on the same day makes the purchase of another product and I get my percentage of the sale. Will Amazon ask me where does my traffic come from? Can he not pay?
p.s. Traffic comes from other trading platforms, such as ebay but not from the sales page... I send them messages in private messages...

You should try and read up on their TOS. Can't say for sure but it does seem like it's against their TOS. In case it is, I don't think they'd go out their way just to message you that they know you are doing something wrong. Can't say I'm 100% sure. Have never tried anything like that. Pretty sure that stuff to some extent is tolerated by amazon.

I know im procrastinating. Its cause after reading all 100 pages of this thread, only those who manged to pick right keywords started earning. Those who didnt quit. Most failed either couldnt choose right kw to start or cause kw they picked failed them. Its been 9 months now, there should be ton of reports stating 1k per month earnings. There isnt. There are only those who managed to pick right keyword (who atleast had experience in picking keywords).
So im procrastinating until i find good one. Following someones method doomed to fail is not my style, i need to do things correctly from the beginning. Thnks for your 3 niche suggestions, table and wall ornaments does not fit into price range needed for this method unfortunately and are more of a micro niches not broad ones, fireplces is a good one but as its public here im sure 10 guys will start on that. I know i have to come up with something else and understand how keywords work at first (dont get me wrong, im not lazy, been few weeks in this forum reading journeys and keyword related threads). I already have put too many hrs into it to quit now so ill keep pushing.



What i have learned so far:

Ineed to go with "best keyword"
Best keyword have to have more than 5k monthly searches
Best keyword have to have lowest difficutly level possible
Best keyword have to bo something i know about (to write content and post to forums)
Best keyword can not be seasonal
Best keyword have to have upward trend
Best keyword have to fall into a broad niche
Products price range in this niche have to be $150+

Please, correct me if i have misunderstood.

You are right. Picking kw is the key. This sounds easy, but its not. You really have to know what you are doing, or you will spend time and money.


But like everything in life, if you fail, try to learn from it and move on
