Massplaner down, is Followliker next?

Or developers could stop being greedy and sell standalone bots without license servers and monthly fees. if i`m not mistaking the developers of massplanner are Romanians so i`m curious on what legal bases IG asked them to close their service.

Exactly.
Maybe they got bribed to shut it down, sad.

Or maybe Instagram just told them to shut it down, or they'll go after their Paypal accounts, chargebacks, etc.
Or maybe Instagram hired them to help them shut down bots on their system and what to look for.
Or maybe Instagram paid them off, like you said.

Aren't they members of BHW as well?
Maybe someone can ask them.

Romania - part of the European union(agreements with US,visa, paypal etc). It seems that the best way to avoid Big Brother is to have North Korean server with russian payment systems :D

Followliker isn't safe. They are taking down all these services one by one.

Stay away from Followliker. I know a guy from Instagram and he told me that in the following two weeks they going to take off other 5 public bots, including Followliker. Their biggest fish were Massplanner, now Followliker.

That doesn't stop IG to sue the shit out of them. Then IG changes one simple thing in their API and forces them to not longer provide updates and you have a programm that does not work, even without a license server.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. But Followliker works through a license server. If IG hits that or the DNS/Hosting providers that host the licensing server, that means that we all will not have access to the program, since it won't be able to verify our license.
Yes, it would/will mean that exactly, but that's an easy fix by hiring a half-assed cracker. The bigger issue is that you won't have updates and with the frequency of the ig updates, the bot would be useless sooner than later. If you're lucky, just later, first just some non-vital functions would be unusable then on one sunny day, you realize you can't login anymore. Also, if you use an outdated bot taken it's still working, that's always a risk for the accounts.

Only IG blocks FollowLiker and other IG bots? Or Pinterest, Twitter and Tumblr also do the same?

IG is not blocking bots, they are trying to get rid of them in a legal way.
Maybe other social networks will do the same -- however, IG is trying to increase its reputation that's why they are doing that.
Sites such as Pinterest and Tumblr care much less about bots and don't go that far, because more users (even if they are fake) means more money for them.

It's only FB/ig for now and possibly for the foreseeable future. Those other networks usually don't go after bots for some unknown reason, maybe partly because what healzer said above. FB is notorious about shutting down bots, it was a couple years back too and it is now.

It's kinda surprising that why did they allow this many big public bots operate for years. If someone was in the ig game back in 2013, he/she must remember the xGram and Instadominate shutdown, which practically killed the public botting on ig for a while until FL came.

1 by 1 all... but less users of any spam bot will not get banned by IG/FB easily.

If the owner is in a country that doesn't give a shit and has hosting in different countries (for their licenses, which he is saying), they wouldn't be able to shut them down. How do you think the Pirate Bay is still around?
