Hmm... not sure how it would be marketing on their platform for free, when you can still do this with a custom bot or something similar. You can market for free on both FB and IG all you want, however, obviously the most viable form would be paid marketing.

You think they want you to spam their platform for free? Nope nope nope.

FB and IG are just like G. They want you to pay for ads. That includes spam.

They did this to discourage people from trying to make money off of their platform without running ads. It's the same reason they limit post visibility on FB. No free exposure. Free exposure they no likey.

Can you use another bot? Absolutely. They can't weed out every bot maker, especially the ones not operating in America.

But posting links without paying for an ad is free advertising/marketing. Don't get it twisted.

It was obvious that something like this would happen after Instagress. Massplanner is too popular to stay hidden. This is not the end though, personal bots/ imacros still works. It's just that you'll have to put in more time to organize things.

EDIT: I'll miss the follow account posts like feature. Damn, Facebook banned almost half of my network and now this. I'll have to start a hotdog stand it seems.

nah, this is actually little bigger than wt u think. . Lot of BHW's were using massplanner. Some run 1000s of ig accounts (BigTroll, etc..)
At one poitn BHW was filled with Ogads+Ig threads
hansa had a BST on massplanner right ?
I'm sure Ogads guys / Ig proxy sellers earning will go down too.

Ofcourse we knew this is coming to an end sooner or later.


I can code a simple bot to follow unfollow, but most people here are not programmers, if IG (+fb) is going against these bots,,this is kinda big deal.

The rephrasing is better ... but still not free advertising. Could be free exposure, but it still needs a lot of work. Although I ultimately agree that since FB took IG over, they are applying the same strategic plans by discouraging people to continue doing this, while encouraging paid ads.

I am wondering if there is a way for Instagram to shut down FL. Since we own it and presumably it doesn't go through any Follow Liker servers, is it impossible for them to do so. I guess Instagram could make FL create an update for it that causes it to stop working, but can updates be blocked?
