Where are my backlinks?

Guys. I am building a linkwheel and have linked some websites to my site, but none appear when I check for backlinks.

I link to my site from wordpress, from blogger, from blog.com, etc.

Also I have 10 twitter accounts that link to my website.

And when I check my backlinks in google it appears like I have no backlinks.

What can be the reason?

I have an idea but I am not sure.

I am raising with twitter an army of followers and I have an autoresponder with my website link when they follow me. Can that affect me?

Please help me.

My ranking is dancing in google.

Today I am 20 tomorrow I am 500, after that 150 etc.

Check your links with yahoo and not google. If your site is new, it is very common to jump around in the SERPs.

Look sometimes it takes a long time for certain backlinks to appear compared to others, but why are you so bothered about seeing them? For a start twitter is nofollow, secondly, stop procrastinating and build more, instead of wasting your time trying to see them.

I am checking results once a week, but I got worried because my backlinks are not indexed after 1 week.

Ping your backlinks.. this will help them get indexed fast..

I have pinged them all using pingler, pingoat, pingomatic and also bookmarked them using onlywire.

I made some bullshit site for experimenting and built about 20 backlinks.I was checking every day and nothing,nothing,nothing.I forgot for that site for about 3,4 months.When I checked out backlinks they occurred.So ,be patient.Time is needed and you'll see the results.

If you're doing linkwheels and such, and building a WH site that way, you're going to have to work for longer than a month to see real results and dominate the serps (unless it's for low competition keywords). With IM, it takes hard work and time to get anywhere. With BH IM, it still takes hard work, but the time required isn't so bad ;-).

this is normal just keep going. sometimes it takes 3 weeks before the backlinks show up. you can either stop now because you're seeing no instant results (unrealistic) or keep pumping the links and in a few weeks you'll be on fire.
