IG accounts price dropping?

So i was talking with 2 different guys about one account i had for sale and both of them were offering me like 6-8 $ per 1 k followers.

I know is all about engagement and things but this account wasn't bad i guess. Had like 40k followers with 2,5-3k likes per picture so i guess this was a good engagement....decent at least....but 6-8 $, wtf...

It's only logical, this can be done without a brain and difficult methods, thousand upon thousands of people are doing this so it's logical prices drop.

That one i got 10$ per 1k which is the normal price is guess.

On the upside if you have a very good 100k+ engaging account you can still get a good price as not many have the skills or patience to reach that.

Whats the account niche? For example "girls" account i can see costing even 3-5$ per 1k followers, but for niche like beard oil that has decent engagement 10-15$ per 1k followers

I couldn't sell 32k football account for 150$... Hope I can sell it for 100$
