Guys: This is just my 2 cents but I thought I would contribute:

This is what works for me in my specific Niche/Niches but may not work for everyone.

WARNING: This may appear patronising to some but its only to help some newbies out. If anyone has a better method (I'm sure there are many) please contribute. Cheers

1. Buy Expired Non-Dropped Aged Domains with great metrics such as DA and TF and Citation Flow (Dont worry about Niche Relevancy)
2. If starting with a new domain do the following when content and ON-Page Seo is completed and content has been indexed.
3. 1st step: Buy an established reputable Press Release syndicated service - Hopefully your domain/inner page will contain your keyword/phrase
4. 2nd step: At the same time smash out a few Social signals and bookmarks - (If local based also get 250+ citations: These can be a combination of no-follow & do-follow)
5. 3rd step: (If not using a parasite method) start gaining domain authority buy getting an equal amount of "Do-Follow" & "No-Follow" high (80+ domain Authority links) You can do this for free just use the search function here.
6. Research competition and reverse engineer their back-link & social profile - Then copy all "do-follow" backlinks as much as practical as most will be purchased. (Forget Niche Relevant - Its bullshit in my opinion)
7. Also - create High DA web 2.0 properties
7. In the 1st 2 months drip feed very potent high DA /PA contextual links - Many services on here offer these (volume depends on comp)
8. Build content on inner pages and link to these proportionally.
9. Lastly: The rate at which you do this depends greatly upon the relevancy of your competition. If your main competition is at number 1 in the serps and only has 100 links don' build 10,000 rubbish GSA links and expect a similar outcome.

Peace Out.............

OP,
Do you know the basics, first of all ?

7. Also - create High DA web 2.0 properties

This I think is now an underused method, people seem to think these links don't work. They do, you just have to make sure it's a followed Web 2.0!!
