Hey guys,
Currently running a dropshipping journey over in the my journey thread, but thats not why posting here.

so my store started gaining some traction and sales were being made (woo) but then was informed had to get my AE account verified ASAP to place more orders.

So all was well made sure was all safe etc, posted the required documents and waited.

More orders came in and still nothing.

Finally heard from them and they said all good and thanks for pateince etc, then when went back in to order some more products it was still telling me for securty reasons i couldnt place order and need to appeal, and when click on my appeals it says that appeal accepted?

Im totally at a loss here and AE customer sevice are next to impossible to get in touch with and google somehow has no answers to this issue im having.

Do any of the gurus who inhabit this forum have any advice on what I can do?

Thanks in advance.

First thing you need to do is stop the orders from coming in. Go in "out of stock" mode or something. You can go in maintenance mode if you don't want to look unprofessional. Also stop the ads from going if you're getting sales through a PPC system. It`s always worse to get sales that can't be delivered than stopping the sales from coming. Then contact AE support as soon as possible. It should be a bug or misconfiguration on their part. Make sure things are working, then start the whole system again. If everything works well, it shouldn`t mean more than a couple of days of missed sales :)

That all sounds fair enough! I was thinking of doing that anyway truth be told!

Any recommendations on what to do with the other orders I have at the moment? Should I refund them or try to keep them close?

If you`re doing dropship and you have a written term on a longer delivery period, then you should be fine for a couple of days. If things don`t work out soon enough, you can think about refunding them.

You'll be fine. Ive taken 15 days to fullfill orders before lol. Use a family members account and email Ali

I'm no expert but I do recall watching a YouTube video with someone mentioning that this is standard procedure for AliExpress.

He stated that the reason the system gets triggered is when AE is concerned that you may be using a debit/credit card that MAY not belong to you. What would have lead to AE in believing this would merely be from you using the same card for multiple purchases within a brief period of time.

You MUST reach out to AE support and they will have you go through a verification process that is geared toward proving that you are in fact the owner of the card.

They'll probably require photos and drivers license/identification card information along with a photo of you in possession of the card.

NOTE: I have no directly experienced this issue, but it seems to be a predetermined trigger that happens on a normal basis.

It's very similar to how Tumblr reduces spam. They'll allow you to operate for a few weeks, and then they'll ban your account to see if you reach out to them. They figure spammers/scammers won't bother contacting support.
