Just to clarify: if you use the payment link, your account gets upgraded automatically. It generally happens immediately and there's no mod approval needed.
We say 7 days because payments will occasionally get held by Paypal or Stripe and we need to confirm it's a genuine payment. Very rarely, the api queries can get interrupted due to connection issues or pages being closed during the transaction and the membership upgrade doesn't register.
If your upgrade doesn't get applied to the account within about half an hour, check that the payment's been taken out and it's not been held by paypal or stripe. Otherwise, send me a PM with the transaction ID so I can verify it and make sure the membership upgrade goes through asap.
