Sorry for my bad English

As far as I understand, it is no longer beneficial for ranking improvementes. Although you can get some traffic if you post some relevant comment with a link to your site.

Find some EDU sites for commenting and use it along with other methods for better results. If you cant find edu sites which accept comments, there are a lot of edu blog commenting services here on BHW to help you

I agree it. If you want to rank your site at Google, forget about blog commenting.

Except you want to get direct traffic from blogs.

For page rank blog commenting is not much effective. It can help you to drive traffic. To improve page rank try for unique content and also create backlink on .edu and .gov sites.

It is not helpful if you comment on 0 PR and unrelated blog or does not match with your site's subject. SE consider it as a spam activity.

Only private blog network work better and one thing more comment backlinks etc is good for indexing backlinks and can be use in tier 2

Damn so many strange replies coming from BHW users...it looks like the dozens of case studies and threads of people ranking websites with pure spam meant nothing.

Blog comment always good, but before do you keep in mind where you place comment and what you comment. Comment on your niche related site and high quality site. Also your comment give some information about that blog.

It could be a good solution for link building if you do blog comment in relevant website as well should have low OBL and more importantly it should be good quality website .Keep in mind always when you do linkbuilding ,quality is must rather then quantity.

I ranked almost 50 niche site using only blog commenting and i do still blog commenting for my niche site and its works like a chrome if you target good quality domain for linkbuilding .

I wouldn't even bother with blog comments for increasing your ranking nowadays. I think its good for promotion and getting your site out there if you focus on blogs in your niche though.

Unfortunately many comments are automatically tagged nofollow. In addition, Google has caught on to some extent.

If the website is relevant, you might receive a little benefit from the link, but that's unlikely. Blog comments are best used these days for building relationships and connecting with influencers in your niche.

If you want to create comments with the aim of obtaining some link juice, you are better off creating them with automated tools and using them as tier 2 links.

Blog comment benefits you as like how you're moving with it.. Comment in the blogs that related to your niche and the comment should contain the information about the blog.. It does not help much to rank your site but it just helps in tier 2 technique..

yes blog comment is useful for SEO, but it should be relevant to your niche.
Don't give the target keyword in username, instead of that you can use your KW inside the comment section. Try to give the real username.
And use both type of links (No and Do follow links)
Quantity is rather than Quality. SO keep in mind comment only in recent blogs with relevant niche.

yes blogcommenting are very helpful for any site if they are quality links

Yes it is good, no its not good, yes, no, yes, no.
I think think some are not understanding the question. Will it help the ranking? No it will not. Will it help website trafic? Yes, it will.
Thanks
Blink
