I have seen a ton of posts lately on using different StatusNet sites to get indexing and high pr links, especially **you know**. A lot of members here are just completely sloppy with this method, throwing red flags left and right, and **you know** is noticing this trust me! Here is the method I use to clean it up a bit, and it is a little faster.

Identically unique method:

BHW member "Chuck" makes their profile iden****/xxx

/xxx makes an identical profile to identi.ca/aaa(pr5) using the same tags, subscribers, and groups (helps if you do this over the course of a few days or weeks)

/xxx then adds their own unique tags, subscribers, and groups

Chuck makes another profile identi.ca/yyy (from different ip!)

/yyy makes an identical profile to /xxx using only the unique tags, subscribers and groups to /xxx and not /aaa

/yyy then adds their own unique tags, subscribers and groups

Chuck makes another profile /zzz (from different ip)

/zzz makes an identical profile to /yyy using only the unique tags, subscribers and groups to /yyy and not /zzz

ect.

Do this properly and you will have a huge snake of high pr pages! Plus, you shouldn't throw any red flags because of the identical uniqueness ;)

stop talking about identi if you dont want to throwing the red flaq!

*Sorry, edited.

But, if you use this method, there will be no way for them to tell who is trying to suck their pr, because all your accounts will look legit.

Also, I suggest you build it up over time, rather than immediately or impatiently.

I was looking over the original post. I haven't tried it yet (still working on earlier things) but it's definitely on my list.

However, as soon as I read the material I thought you'd best mosh it up a bit. In other words, if resources of the original source are: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0

the first new site would use: 1 3 5 7 A B
the second new site would use: 1 2 4 8 0 A C D etc.

Perhaps one rule for quality SEO is never ever ever have two or more things identical or functionally identical because they reveal your methods.

Wow this is like a maths lesson! Good tips though guys, thanks.

So is identi now a nofollow site?!

http://status.net/2010/04/05/nofollow-on-the-statusnet-cloud

2 of my accounts were kicked n no backlinks now

Looks like they are only generating nofollow on known abusers to their system. This wouldn't be hard to do if you owned the linking system, as you could generate script to seek and destroy accounts with related ip addresses.

A twist I use is to build 100% whitehat sites with this method as my high pr rank pages. Then, I use smaller, crappy cpa and product campaigns to build off of my own high pr network. The products and cpa ads, adsense and such are ALWAYS legit for me and I haven't had one ban, drop or nofollow ping yet doing it this way. However, to each his own. Use it as it works best for you.

Be smarter about it either way, guys. Build a network of sites that are respected and then, connect whatever you want to those sites, playing both ends against the middle, with your own high pr pages pulling rank juice for you.
