There are two concepts that people seems to be confused with.
First, google isn't the internet. Spamming google would be spamming google properties with your comments. Spamming the internet to increase your rankings in search engines does not equal to spamming google. Google made up this concept to sound like a victim of evil "black hat" link builders. Google doesn't deserve any pity and neither should any sane person seek to blame others and corporations for their misfortune.
Second, since who came up with the concept that building links is spamming? I know it's widely used now, and even I referred to the practice as spamming in the above paragraph, but this word again makes your activity sound like you do something illegal. People associate spamming with sending unsolicited emails, which is considered illegal, I believe, in many countries. Saying that you spam (do something that resonates with an "illegal" activity) Google (make them sound like a victim) is the biggest fucking propaganda people can fall for.
Good luck bras.
