WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD OF SEO!

This is becoming big news here in SEO world. I was penalized by unnatural backlink warning as many here experienced. This cause much problems since I built many crappy links and also purchase many different services.

I use the service they talk about in this article LinkDelete.com and they managed to get my penalty lifted.

But here the thing, this pisses me off mates. It should not be about us having to do this stuff, you know? Google should be smarter than that and just discount bad links ie not make them count!!!!

What you think? This the future of SEO?

I think its one of the best ideas in IM, even tho it may not work but they will make enough money. Plus it makes sense to purchase their services if you were penalized. If they want to go very black hat, they can blast random sites with thousands of useless backlinks and offer removal services.

Good stuff. I wonder if they use negative SEO to get the pages with your links deindexed, or they actually call up people in India to whatever to have them removed LOL. Smart either way.

Well that would be fucked up if they create bad backlinks and then contact you to remove them. that is extortion.

for me though i contact them for work to be done and not other way around. i'd be scared if they contacted me and offered to remove links. it takes to much time to remove backlinks by myself, so it cheaper to hire a service.
 
I doubt it works. It's near impossible deleting thousands of backlinks; blog comments, forum profiles without the login details etc
 
Good idea for the time being...until/unless google integrates the disavow-link feature in WMT.
 
One of my clients built links on their own and got penalized. We ended up using LinkDelete.com and were really pleased with it. They helped us remove TONS of links from their link profile. Highly recommend it if you got the Penguin slap.

I see more than just email in the final excel they send me, they use employee to track down contact info and get in touch with webmaster.

but here the deal --- i dont have time for contact websites to take down links and manage everything. that take a hell of a long time. so a service that take care of that for me make sense for me atleast maybe not others.

the point is though how much googles really fucked up the game, this is what it come down to
 
I certainly am not saying they are saving time and money but they just email the domain owners... getting the info for the domain owners can be done using a simple script... I know because one of my partners has one that we use periodically.

We can get thousands of domain owner emails in a matter of just a couple of hours and shoot them an email as part of the script with a simple message that can actually be customized for the "offending" url as well as the clients url.

I'm sorry but this might be the stupidest thing I have ever heard of.

From what it looks like all you got here is some companies that have made connections with big companies like Blogger.com so that they can ask them to remove links upon request. The rates seem to differ depending on which platform it is, but I'm guessing they went around and got contracts with a good handful of the most widely used platforms. They also seem to have connections with a few directories like dwtoys.net but unless your "poisonous links" come from somebody they have access to I'm guessing you're outtaluck. Maybe SOME companies might send out request emails, but if that's the case then the success rate wouldn't be 100% like with the contracted partners. This is just a guess, but based on looking at a few of these type of companies thats the impression I get of their industry typically.

BTBs right, its just doing the hard work so you dont have to, if someone can automate the process and prove that it works, ie webmasters do take links down, then it becomes a thing which anyone can do, and everyone can provide, unless the bot creator or whatever decides to sell the software/service.

This is where I was at as well. I don't have a virtual assistant and also don't program enough to automate the process. For me to do this would have been so unbelievably painstaking and not worthy my time at all. Much easier for me to pay a small charge to have it done, triple the charge and then bill my client. Easy as that.

You're right about Google fucking up the game, but I'm positive that was their intentions. They wanted us to all be so confused that lots of people will give up with their SEO ways.

What happened to your client that caused you to need links removed? Did you get the webmaster's notification of unnatural links? Surely you wouldn't start yanking links of a guess....?
 
You can do all this with scrapebox. Scrape where your links are found. Use the whois plugin to get the email of the websites. Then just send out a bulk email using Variables for Subject and URL (within email text) and done. I'm sure they are making a killing because this work can be automated easily.
 
Yea they got the webmaster warning and came running to me. They never told me what they did, but I think it was links purchased on Fiverr or something.

No, no, no. I'm saying I wonder if they use Negative SEO to get the pages that link to your money site (i.e. the pages that are hurting you) de-indexed. After looking at the sites in the article this is clearly not they case.

They are just emailing people.
