[WordPress] List of awesome free & shared WP plugins

Hello BHW.

Today I figured I could mash up all the possible WP plugins I use / can think of that you will ever need when building your sites. All of them are free, either actually free or shared here on BHW. I don't take any credit other than compiling the list together.

Also, I will include a note about the plugin if I used it in the past, if not, I will just put a link to it's official site.

Note: Simple way to create popups in WP. Great for list building, especially if you're using Mailchimp since their email submit form looks like crap when directly embedded in WP. I think Aweber has a plugin to deal with that but Mailchimp doesn't.

Note: Never used it myself tho hopefully I will soon. This is one those plugins that turns your wordpress site in to something much better. A must for any IMer.

Note: Good looking pricing tables. Much better then those 2 free plugins in WP. Loads of color themes and styles. If you mess with some parts of the code you can REALLY customize it.

Note: One of the most useful plugins I can think of. It basically let's you do whatever you want with your WP site. You can split a part of the site in to multiple colums, integrate videos, pictures & g0ogIe maps easily, create tables, etc. You can even add your own custom CSS.

All in One Favicon

Note: It easily let's you upload favicon for your site. Good plugin if your theme doesn't have an option to change the default favicon.

iRobots .txt SEO

Note: It simply lets you easily create robots.txt. Haven't used this one in a while tho.

Contact Form
Note: Simple contact form you can put anywhere on your site.

WP Touch

Note: Easily make your site mobile friendly. It doesn't look spectacular, but if you just have blog then this is more than enough.

Image Widget

NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster

Note: This plugin automatically shares your new post on your social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, G+, Linkedin, Delicious, Pinterest, Tumblr, Blogger, Wordpress). It starts getting really good if you use this with some sort of autoblogging software.

Pretty Link Lite

Note: This is basically a WP cloaker. It can turn any link to this format www.yoursite.com/whatever. I haven't used this lite version so I don't know it's limitations.

Note: Embedd loads of Youtube videos in your blog by keyword. You can really go nuts with it. Goes well with the "NextScripts: Social Network Auto-Poster".

Note: If nothing else, this is a good and simple way to backup your blog.

Don't forget to add W3 Total Cache for caching, and WP Smush it for image optimization. Cool list bro!
