Hi All!
A google search shows up a lot of results, so I need to know which one you guys think is the best?
Which one would you recommend?
Thanks

Title and question you asked here are totally different. Anyway, a handy tool to check penalty is GMT.

Most of the users find best with in top 10 result.

I think look for SEMRUSH is the quick way to see if a particular algorithm or penalty has hit them and to know how much organic traffic received to your site.

I suggest GWT and SEMRUSH,MOZ, which works quick and effective.

You can try Cognitive Seo and Semrush that helps you to check whether the website has been affected by a Google algorithm or a penalty.

Webmaster is the only tool you really NEED.
Things like Link Detox can be a handy second resource.

Scritty

SEMrush is the best tool that I suggest for checking the penalty. But also can identify your site traffic and also has the features such as analyse the backlinks, research keywords etc.

Hope it helps. Best wishes.:)

There is no tool. Most of them just check if your site is indexed or not.. Nothing more..

The only way to check a penalty is if you loose a big portion of traffic, your pages loose their rankings or your site gets deindexed. If it is a manual penalty, you will get notification in WMT. for Algorithmic penalty, you don't get any notice but you can see a decrease in traffic/rankings.

For manual penalties, there is almost always (yes, there are a few rare exception, but if you are asking this question, they are not affecting you) a notification in the search console/WMT. Algorithmic filters often called penalties, too, can be indentified by either significant traffic drops or some tool showing the overall visibility in Google like Searchmetrics (great suite, little expensiive, but worth it).

@umerjutt00 There are more than a dozen different manual penalties, some offpage, some onpage. Only one of them leads to de-indexing 100% of the time ("pure spam"), another one ("unnatural outgoing links") only if the site is built for SEO purposes or selling links only (PBN). All other penalties do not result in de-indexing, including all the algorithmic stuff.

hey, mate my suggestion is Webmaster is the best one...
