Keyword Planner still working

I logged in to my mcc account the other day and then went to gkp and it was still showing range.

Do you mean that you have to browse to gkp tool from within mcc or something?

No I just used a new gmail to create a new adwords account in MCC, then went directly to keyword planner here https://adwords.google.com/KeywordPlanner and clicked on Get search volume, data and trends

Just did a search right now and keyword volume working great!

Tried with existing account and it doesn't work so I guess I'll try it out with a new account.

Yes ,try with a new gmail, create your gmail and sign up on MCC account for adwords, from there got to keyword planner.
 
I have installed keywords everywhere browser extension, looks good so far. it's free and for ffox and chrome.

it gives proper search volume and cpc on search pages

Followed this method and input the new google account details into long tail pro and i now have seach volume - many thanks!

actually no need new gmail account.
i just use existing account, but its never used to access gkp, and it works..
 
Thanks OP. This was a solution for me. But today the results are back to crap range. I tested again with a new account and email, still nothing. More people with this problem? or still working for you?
 
I guess you found a glitch and google will update it sooner or later, so enjoy it as much as you can

So is it patched or not? Can somebody confirm?
 
Worked for me. But i think this it is a bug or a glitch and Google guys will be aware very fast about this issue and in short timw this will no longer work.
 
Google recently made some changes in the KW planner tool; these changes are related to volume of keywords, as the combine
 
Thanks for the tip. this worked for a few days but now it's back to giving only rough estimate .... :s Any ideas on this?
