Google algo update today

Having one site per GWT account is okay. Having multiple sites on one account is asking for a brutal slap. It doesn't matter now, they are already linked.

do i have time to delete from my account and add them to my friend account ? or time is over ?

It's definitely not related to anchors.

I have a couple of hack/crack sites with brutal exact ratio, since they are churn and burn basically and have exact at 10 - 20% and they haven't budged at all.

On the other hand, long term sites are flying as retarded. So no, it's not about anchor ratios in my opinion.

yeah i agree with you, im suspecting onsite factor rather than offsite factor ..my exact anchor was only 11% on single word and bellow 10% combined ( something like this "buy" or "cialis" 11% exact and "buy cialis" bellow 10%) is hit really hard

while my other site with much higher exact anchor 35% not hit as hard as my first blog and recovering day by day after i fix many of onsite problem (blocking resources, spelling and grammar, site structure etc)

both of my blog have same backlink source and difference from both is second blog have slightly much better onsite from the first one

All my sites that have been dancing are small sites. Basically one pagers with huge amount of content (4K+ words) on homepage, with a blog section with 20 short articles linking to homepage. No idea what might be the problem with this at all.

Also, another issue may be the amount of outgoing affiliate links. I am hiding them from Google via plugin, but not sure it if may not as well play a role.

I am more inclined to this being an onsite structural thing, rather than off site.

I dont think having multiple sites in GWT matters unless you have a PBN kind of thing or in case your sites have links with each other or they have common link sources. If you have 10 sites and all have links from completely different sources and there are no common link sources, thats natural and safe i guess. Many webmasters manage multiple properties in a single acc.

You won't be saying that when you get hit with a manual action on sites that were important to you, but were hit because one of your other sites was rumbled.

You are wrong. I tell you from experience they will tank all website that are linked in your webmaster tools.

Never add more then one website in your webmaster tools.

It does not matter. Google can find all of your sites within minutes with your Adsense and/or Amazon affiliate links. If they want to hit all your sites, they will.

my rankings have been all over the place since the start of the month

i think someone here said the update might be related to CTR. for two keywords that are pretty much the same (only difference is spelling and using "4" instead of "four") i'm ranking at the 10th spot and at the 3rd sport. Only difference between the two is CTR. it seems like whatever is going on is specific to keywords

From page 3 to page 5 , from page 5 to page 2 ,

from page 2 to n/a and from n/a to page 2 .

playing with me !!!

Right now it's just dancing around bit, but in all likelihood these small patch updates are warning sings of an impending penguin 4.0

What this update has done to a fairly new site ive been building.

Maybe...but there are thousands of other reasons that your sites could have tanked. Why has GWT given us the option to manage multiple properties in the first place? How are webmasters managing hundreds of client websites in a single account with multiple sub accounts? Logging with multiple G accounts from a single IP will def raise red flags and G will think you are up to something. G will anyway know that your sites are linked even if you create seperate accounts....you are underestimating G. See discussion below:

Guys today was another kick into algo. I've noticed a lot of dance and a few kws jumped up to the position where they were in 01/09. But when I checked it manually - they are not there. But this is good signal :-)

No maybe about it.. I lost a site a great
.com end for 40k searches a month that I was letting age with no backlinks and great content because it was in the same gwt as another that got hit. If you want to take chances like that then that's your business. But don't be spreading false advice
