This site is brilliant. It lets you take any website and very easily clone/change it to create your own very real looking hoax/spoof stories.

Here's an example I just created to test it out:

BlackHatWorld and Google are fighting for the 2nd most valuable company spot:

http://techcrunch.com.clonezone.link/BlackHatWorld-and-Google-fight-for-the-2nd-most-valuable-tech-company-spot

And here's an image of the end result - if you know TechCrunch, you'll see it's a perfect replica:

I wasn't being overly creative, I just wanted to see how easy it was to use. And it took less than 2 minutes. The result is a perfect replica of the original news story and looks totally original (apart from the URL of course).

I can see people having a lot of fun with this. Sending hoax links to friends, creating amusing hoaxes for your own sites, getting some viral activity on social networks, starting parody news sites - the possibilities are endless!

Here's the site:

Enjoy playing around with it guys!

Thank for this awesome tool. I already got a lot of ideas to create viral hoax stories. The only issue with this is that the traffic you might get from sharing probably won't convert or work with the majority of the niches. The URL looks very different though but we can just share the picture without the link.

Thats fucking hysterical.
I really need to call my lawyer cause I'm tempted to use that thing in ways that are bound to get my ass in trouble.

Like, I gotta find out the legal ramifications of using "parody press" to profit off of.

If I write an article about how Obama visited our business, or how I won the noble prize..... then post that on my money site.... and conversions skyrocket cause your avg consumer is too dumb to understand its fake.... I'm sure I could be sued blind for false advertising. But what if I do like a 1 font disclaimer at the bottom? Most consumers would still be too dumb to notice its fake.

Either way I need to find out. Facebook has always been one of my weak spots but if I do a couple jokes every week that could drum up a lot of attention.

Awesome share dude,

-BB

What about the original site's tracking codes? Wouldn't take long to see that you're ripping the site (why I delete all codes when cloning sites).

Anyway, let the hilarity commence!

I already have a story up on FB leading to a CPA offer.

I'll have to cut http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/members/138599-trepanated.html in on some of the commissions

Haha - that was quick work!

Let us know how well it works.

Site is down, but good find!

I think their servers are going to be under pressure. It's going to be wildly popular. When I first came across it the other day I noticed the site would go down occasionally.

I've edited my original post and included an image of the test I did, so people can see how well it works.

EDIT: I just checked and it is back up again.

I've been playing around with this site today and figured out that not only can you add and change the URLs but you can also change the anchor text

Now that makes things even more interesting.

Rather than just making hoax news stories, you can get creative and turn them into your own adverts, complete with strategically inserted links to your own target sites and offers.

I knocked this one up in a few minutes, again using BHW for a news story and there are 5 new working links in there, most with changed anchor text:

With a bit of creative thinking this site could turn into a little gold mine!

This site looks like it could be great for both fun and business!

Thanks for the share, Trepanated!

You cant imagine how much fun im going to have with this. Cheers.

Remember that site that allowed you to create fake facebook walls, i created one that made my brothers wife leave him hahahaha.

Well until i proved it was a hoax lol.

Nice idea with a really well done editing system!

But I wonder how long it could last if it gets popular.

Do you think they are using the servers IP to scrape the page data to edit it?
Or is it done some other way as I thought same origin policy prevented this?

It is simple enough to out your own story together (even copy content), add in some links and anchor text, and put it on 100 different FB pages to generate some very targeted traffic that sees the story as credible, and make some decent CPA cash.

I don't usually do any real work on a Sunday but this literally took me 20 minutes to set up... l can't drink a cup of coffee that fast.

Thus far I have over 61.00 in revenue from that simple little task.

There are some laws that still apply to these types of websites, more specifically defamation and possibly copyright laws. I'm assuming that as long as it doesn't become mainstream with every 14 year old "hacker" creating clone websites to bully classmates or some Charlie Paedophile uploading using it to host child porn, then their shouldn't be any problem.

Although, I'm curious to see what BreaknBrix's lawyer says about it.

I dont understand the point of this.. It doesnt allow you to change the links on the page.. so what benefit does this give. It also runs off their hosting and domain.. so running any campaigns will be risky because you dont control the upkeep. This would be a great tool f it spat out code. (downloaded the images) and created a zip folder, so you can basically jack a site.. then use a editor to switch up links and stuff.. I mean you can come up with ways to use it.. but dont really see something to really make money here.. Anyone use this with any success? (making money i mean)

I can see many useful use for this site,
I wish the social media links at the bottom would work so that the story can go viral.

Nearly all of them seem to work ok. Btw, who left the comment at the bottom?

I think it would be better to grab the script, and host it on our own servers. I can see this site shutting down people's projects due to DMCAs, etc.

You can change the links. Look at this one I did a short while ago - both the links and the anchor text have been changed:

There are loads of ways to use it make money, you just need to put your thinking cap on and get a little creative.

BTB just said he spent 20 minutes playing with it and already made $61. And I'm sure that figure will keep rising now with no extra effort on his part.

Sure you can, take a look and it allows you to edit almost like a WP site or Word doc.

Ok, here is the Cliffsnotes version on how you can make money with little to zero risk with this. Remember, I'm no Rhodes Scholar so if I can do it you surely can.

1) Find a trending story in the news. (I read the news first thing every day on a few different sites so I can catch what is trendy by accident.)
2) Just rip the news story. I didn't change anything at all except for a few lines and I ripped them from one of my sites.
3) Insert your links to how you want to monetize. (I choose an email CPA offer that pays 1.40 per email address.)
4) Spam FB with it using your favorite spamming tool or if you have no tool, just copy and paste it in a bunch of groups or use a macro.

I have some FB accounts that are tied to a bunch of groups and just spammed them. The story looked like a legit story as it actually was but this story had an opportunity in there for the reader and all they had to do was submit their Email address. Make the offer prominent in the story and put it there several times.

Honestly, this is super easy for a quick buck and ANYONE (yeah that is an absolute) can do it.
