Making $300 a day for 3 Years..... I NEED ADVICE!!

Hello everyone,

I have 5 years Online Marketing experience using only Youtube. For the past 2 years I've made at least $200-300 a day with just One Product.... pulling an extra $2000 monthly from a 2nd product.

I only need about 20 good Youtube Videos to make $300 a day. I don't need to mass upload or spam. The reason my videos convert so good, is because they don't "Look" or sound like Advertisements to my viewers. They buy it because they believe its the best option, and the "Guy in the video" got results after using it. Also.....People LIKE my videos! They comment and I reply, they Subscribe and Share my videos FOR ME. I don't need to buy backlinks, or high retention views or anything like that. My Youtube Videos are "100% All Natural." Most go viral within the first month.

I am amazing at Video SEO but my latest batch of Video Ad's are SO FREAKING GOOD they go viral even with crappy SEO in the Title/Tags/Desc. I can upload just 1 video to 1 Youtube Account and rank at least 2nd (often 1st) page on Youtube Search in 1 month. My video will also show up 2nd to 4th place in the Side-Bar of alomst every Keyword Related video (basically my competiton's sidebar). 1 out of ever 5 videos I upload are getting at least 2000-4000 views per day in 1 month.

SO.... what is the problem you may ask? Is it flagging? YES...but not from Youtube competition. I usually don't get Flagged by my Keyword competition on Youtube because my videos don't "Look" like Advertisements. They kinda "blend in"....and I never put my URL in the description....ever.

The problem....since August 2014..... is when my Youtube Videos start to appear on 1st page of Google for my 4 top selling Keywords.....BAMM! That exact day, the video gets Flagged. All the other vidoes on my account are left alone. 2 weeks later, I have 3 videos rank on 1st page of Google for the SAME keywords as the previously Flagged videos. Within 2 days ALL 3 videos are flagged, yet all other videos on the YT Accounts are left alone.

So I make 10 new Youtube Accounts, with 2 videos each, using the same Keywords as my Dead Videos. As I wait for my 10 new videos to go viral....I carefully watch the 1st page of Google...taking note which websites rank in which position for each Keyword variation of the original "problem Keyword". Same Thing Happens!

NOW....I have identified 3 websites who ALL rank on 1st page of Google for those Keywords (Short and Long Tail variations). Webiste A is my #1 Suspect because I saw my Video pass websites B and C without getting flagged. My videos were only flagged after passing website A...who is the leader of the 3 websites. Website A does not out-rank B and C for ALL Keywords in that Keyword Group...but most, about 75%.

I have always believed that people who Flag their competition on Youtube because they SUCK at Video SEO will only bring upon theirself a re-action of "Bad Karma" based on their negative actions. Same rules apply to people attacking other websites on Google. What goes around, comes around.

I cannot find any alternative to keep making money. I was not prepared for this financially. I know nothing about building a website that is SEO optimized to rank on 1st Page of Google...it would take me too long...and I would be broke by then. I have tried uploading more Videos targeting Keywords that are NOT getting flagged...but the list of alternate keywords is small, and these Keywords just don't convert like the Keywords this website owner is protecting. My other product is maxed out as far as traffic.

I hate to do it...never had to in the past....but I'm afraid I have no choice but retaliate. In the last 6 weeks I've seen like 20 other videos (besides mine) get flagged the day after out-ranking his website on Google. The only way to stop this...is to take away from him that which he is protecting...willing to protect so much that he attacks his competition. I have decided to be the "Re-Action" for his Actions. In his case...I am that "Bad Karma" everyone always talk about....coming to deliver "what comes around"

Before I commit to this offensive, I need advice on this matter. If you have any solutions to offer...please offer.

If you know of any "Tricks' that I can use to Make 100% sure its the right guy before I hit the Go button...please let me know. i dont wanna nuke the wrong guy.

Well, since you said that every video that tries to outrank his gets flagged then it means he may be the bad guy you're looking for. But I still wonder why such a person would want to do that. Does he wants to make the whole money? Some people.

I'll advice you to test him again. Create another video and try to outrank him. If your video gets flagged then you can go on with your "re-action". Just be careful. ok?

You can't know he's the right guy for certain.

Your only solution is to keep working hard to maintain an advantage to your competition somehow. As soon as you waste your resources getting them, instead of adding value to keep beating them, you'll be losing the battle.

Experiencing the same situation like OP's and it really sucks when you're putting out content "to take out the competition" instead of "putting out great content for your users and business". OP, be ready to take the road to the "Dark Side" when you start retaliating. It's not going to be a great feeling. Then again, you're just protecting your business...

The whole negative, beat down your competition, no matter if he is thought to be deserving, is frowned upon by the staff as to discussions and implementation.

You clearly know your revenue generating niche, OP, but you may want to alter the course of this thread.

Kidding. I gathered two things from your post.

1) Youtube's algo takes into consideration previous videos that have gone "Viral" in some kind of sense. Account authority?

2) You have some nasty competition. They've figured out how to get videos removed in little to no time. All is fair in love and Intranet marketing!

Either way, it's a crazy situation bro.

I would love for you to explain further, about how can I maintain any Advantage over him...when he keeps flagging ANY video that passes his website? How can anybody do anything OVER him...when getting OVER him is what prompt's the attacks? Not being sarcastic....just really frustrated.

I already have a lot of evidence who is doing the attacks. 4 of my videos stayed 1 rank below Bad Guy's website for 6 days...no flagging....on the 7th day 1 of my Videos passed him, and got flagged within 24 hours. Two days later my other 3 videos passed Bad Guy's website for 3 other variations of the same Keyword he is defending. All 3 dropped within 24 hours. Besides watching OTHER videos....not flagged when below him...dissappeared the day after passing him. Its a new website purchased 9 months ago....just started ranking on Google about 5 months ago...All other websites below him are like 2 years old. A few of them are just forum posts. Idk if it matters, but his website WHOIS data is private, all others websites below his are visible and in USA. (He is in another country...thats all the WHOIS data I can get on his website.)

I wish I could say to my Youtube Videos..... "Hey there! Mr. Youtube Video! ....don't go any higher on Google rank or you will pass the Bad Guy's website and get flagged. Stay where you are!"

There is no way to get any advantage over him...or over him in any way period. If websites could be "Flagged" and dropped in 1 day...i'd have dropped him last month. The ONLY way I could ever stop this guy would be A.) If youtube disabled the Flag Button B.) If there existed another Popular Video Host that didn't have a Flag Button. Neither option exists.

NOBODY should have to change how they do marketing because of people doing stuff like this....not when the option to retaliate is available, and the attacker is this obvious.

If you know a way I can report this guy....whis I know doesnt exist....any other suggestions??

Why should I be the one to submit to him? I will NOT bow my head and say "Ok I give up! You win! I will go find another product to sell" You gotta be kidding me, never!

(PS. In the long run, I am researching how to Self-Host my own Videos...but this takes MONTHS of work and knowing how to properly build a Video Hosting website, and make it SEO optimized...of which I have Zero experience. I would be Flat Broke by the time it would take to build, optimize and get my Self-Hosted videos to rank on Google. To make it worse...I have no idea if my Video Hosting Webiste will even rank at all, or how effective it will be!

He is probably flagging them for the following.

"Extreme Nudity"
"Advertising Pharmacutical Drugs"
"Spam: Mass Advertising" (yes....even with 1 video per account...it will knock a video down)

Flagging videos repeatedly from a few different IP's will knock down a video WITHOUT any Youtube Moderator checking it first)

If someone keeps flagging you there is nothing you can do unfortunately. It's the same with Negative SEO, if someone decides to bomb your website, there's nothing you can really do.

The biggest issue I see is that you aren't diversified enough. Try to maintain your bread and butter YouTube videos like the other have said, but I would also recommend looking into other streams of revenue.

OK...considering the Moderaters asked me to watch my mouth...lets talk about alternatives. I have been mulling over a few, that although not guaranteed to work, are worth testing.

SHORT TERM:

#1.) Start putting Mature content in my videos...in a way that makes my viewers laugh and does not compromise my high conversion rate, maybe a few pics of boobs or whatever near the intro...and then Flag my Videos as Mature right BEFORE my video starts to pass his website. (and hope its not deleted and set to "Mature" by community)
--- Only drawback to this...when your video is marked as Mature...you view count drops by almost half immediatly. Some people are too lazy to log-in to see the video.

#2.) I have no idea....


LONG TERM:

My #1 alternative would be to Self-Host my videos on my OWN website, using 3rd party Hosting, and beat him out for the Keywords he is Defending. If I host my own videos...no flag button available. BUT this takes months of work...and I have no idea where to start.

If i where you. Use a vpn/proxy. Create a freemail adress. Write him an email saying:

My Videos always get flagged as soon as they rank at top. I dont do shady things normaly but.... It has to be someone from the top, i know perhaps its not you and i am sorry but next time i got flagged i will do negativ seo to all of the top rankings. And with this i dont mean stupid viagra kind of negative seo but overoptimizing anchor texts with payed links, that have at least some quality... and i wont do this at once but slowly over a period of a few months and believe me after i am done, your websites are too. Oh and have fun disavowing all those links because google does not show all links and i will use sellers that hide backlinks from backlink crawlers. Of course at some point i will also report you in google webmaster tools as a spammer. I hope your website has only natural links then.

Sorry that i need to go this route but some people only learn it this way.

Depending in which country you are in (in most this is forbidden by law) you can also threat them with ddos. But again this is forbidden in most countrys. (no legal advice here)

Out of the 10 products I tested with Video Marketing on Youtube...this product is the ONLY one that I can upload videos without getting Flag Attacked by other Youtube competition. It's been a blessing for quite a while now...and fun to advertise, because I actually reply to comments and talk to my viewers on Youtube. "My videos are so popular! Its been 2 years and nobody has ever flagged me"

I know its hard for you to understand my financial situation. If I had known this was going to start happening, i would have already started looking for other streams of income long ago. I have a 2nd product that makes enough to keep me from starving and keep the lights on. But...thinking that nothing like this was gonna happen...i've acquired a rather large debt that I WAS going to pay back quite fast and further improve my credit...before this happened.

To make things worse over the last month this...guy...is expanding his Keyword um, domination, and soon my other Youtube videos on Google will be in danger of being flagged too.

It sucks that the only advice I can get on here is: Tuck-tail, run away, and go sell something else.

I'd really love to know who this douche bag is but I have 2 comments to make:

1) I do not believe he is flagging you for the 3rd option. And I'm fairly confident that mass flagging will NOT take a video down until it's moderated. I've met a lot of sharp ass video marketers but not once in my life has anyone ever proven this concept. That you can take down any video for "spam: mass advertising". Let me explain why. If it was that easy... if it was POSSIBLE at all.... rich musicians and actors would be mass flagging their competitors all the time. And I'll give you more reason why I don't believe it's possible. I have a long standing authority account in a VERY competitive niche (one of the top 100 most competitive niches in the world) where people would LOVE to flag my videos. They'd NEED to flag my videos if they actually thought it would work (like many falsely assume). And they've launched all sorts of attacks against that account. But those videos all have had rock solid rankings and have NEVER been taken down. They will NEVER be taken down because they are LEGIT and meet every single guideline of Youtube.

So this guy has identified a vulnerability in your methodology and is exploiting it for his benefit. I really do think you are pushing the edge either with the nudity or the pharmaceutical drug shit. And if I saw your videos (I'm not asking to see them) I'd put down money that I can tell you what you're doing wrong.

I will also wager $1000... even more if someone can prove to me they can mass flag a YT video thats within YT guidelines and get it taken down. I've made this offer at least a dozen times before, I've done it on other marketing forums and not once has anyone taken me up on it. I don't even care about the method. I just want to SEE it happen cause it's impossible. Youtube stock would fall into the shitter if they had a loophole that wide and that open.

2) Some people will hate me for saying this. And I have enormous respect for guys like BTB. But I do not believe in the whole, "when you focus on taking down your competitors you fuck yourself over" concept. That's just not how the world works. Every society, every construct.... nearly everything in life is based on some system of a reward vs punishment.

You do the right thing. You get rewarded. You do the wrong thing, you get punished. And no, it's not perfect. Not everyone get punished for doing bad and not everyone gets rewarded for doing good. But we still live in a world that controls the masses mostly based on this system. We punish people cause it's effective. Throw a murderer on death row there's a 98% chance he will never kill again.

So obviously, I believe in punishment. Problem is, the only real form of punishment / revenge that we can talk about on here is NSEO. And I don't even think mods like when we talk about that. So you're mostly on your own with this. What I will say is that the prospects of hell fire and a persons own paranoid imagination .... "psychological warfare" is much more effective than direct or more primitive forms of punishment. And if it was me, I'd launch a psychological warfare campaign against his ass. Like 4 millions scrapebox links, 10 million GSA links, sape .... it might not tank his sites but it will sure as hell make him realize he's in someones crosshairs.

Then there are there are the 3 pillars of corporate punishment (not corporal) which I will conveniently call "EEB". But I will not define what it means in public or private and neither will Google. Let's just say large corps engage in this everyday and most do not wind up in jail. But when poor people do it they usually do. And that's all I'll say about that.

What ever you do, make sure this isn't some wild projection of your own imagination. Sometimes there are very obvious reasons why things happen. And it's not always that someone is out to get you. Intelligent people especially overlook these things cause they're so tied up in their own preconceived notions and confirmation bias. Like when a wife gets murdered then the cops pin it on the husband just cause he's an asshole then 10 years later realize a serial killer did it. Just saying that if you decide to do something, do it right so the taste in your mouth is less bitter than sweet.

Stalk him. Send him a message. Befriend him. If he can flag your videos chances are you can flag his as well. If that's the case and he understands that he won't flag them again.
