I'm just making a bot right now which can sign up and post to any wordpress based article directory site..

The bot takes a list of wordpress blogs/article directories and then with each URL it will stick this on the end: /wp-login.php?action=register

That takes you to the registration page where you can make an account..

The next step is posting -
http://URL.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=page - but on EVERY site I've tried it says You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

What am I missing here? I'm using lists which are auto approve and others have had 'great success' using bots like AMR etc..

Manually I'm having the exact same problem so it's NOT to do with the bot - which would actually work quite well if I had 'permission'..

I'll share the bot with whoever can give me a solution :)

Here are some example sites that I can't post on:
http://acrylicprinting.info
http://oilgasinvestments.info
http://officerelocationmagazine.com

Am I just getting unlucky and they've stopped access to posting or is there a mistake being made here?

I think its that. I just joined up manually to one of them, and it wouldnt let me post. Get the same error message

Those are mostly Auto Approved Article Directories..We can register there and post our contents..But many of sites not send confirmation email. But there are 200 good sites like this which is good for SEO Link Building which ends with wp-admin/register,

Ghoast, you are like a two years behind the curve.

Article marketing has changed dramatically since the success and subsequent decline of AMR.

After the masses picked up AMR and started incessantly posting gibberish, website owners had no choice but to stop accepting submissions.

At the moment, essentially, only article marketing noobs are allowing unmoderated posting to their WP article directories by unknown third parties, namely bots.

Consequently, if you are creating a BOT for the purpose of mass posting to WP ADs, good luck. That train left the station a long time ago. Meaning, you are going to be hard pressed to conjure up the type of success that AMR used to have.

As it stands, you are going to have to sift through a high number of directories to find a few to successfully post to. In most cases, you will need to do that even if you start off with an up to date list. There is no secret or trick to get this done; it is going to require time, patience and a massive effort because these sites change almost on a daily basis.

Smart people who have in their possession a pristine list to post to - ARE NOT - likely to make that list public. Why would they? So their gold mine can be pilferaged by unsavvy AMR users and other BOT users who lack common sense about spun content, embedding gibberish and staying under the radar?

You are most likely not making a mistake; you are most likely just facing the reality of dealing with posting to WP ADs in the new era.
