beards

I see this everywhere, especially in the field of web development. Somehow 80% of guys I see grow an absurdly long beard with a twirly mustache. Do they think it looks good? I've heard incredible amusing opinions, such as that "it makes them masculine", but that's just awfully funny. Baby...
