It was my really bad decision to purchase Zennoposter. No Doubt, Its a very awesome tool to have. Keeping in mind the popularity of the tool I wanted to give it a shot. I taught it would help me automate few of my easy tasks.. I got multiple template made and got it running..

It was slow as my VPS had 8GB only, the template guy told me it requires a lot of memory to run more threads. I got a dedicated VPS which had 32GIG RAM, 8Core Process and 1Gbps Dedi. But it got worst and more worst.

When Zenno runs, it never uses more than ~10 GB's but renders the entire server useless to me. It uses 10 GB for 10 threads and it uses same amount memory for 300 Threads spread across mulitplate template. I just can't use it for anything else. I got in touch with their support. No one responds.

I have agnosticon's server. He is an awesome guy. Helped me throughout. When I told him about it.. He suggested to install a Virtualbox on the server and dedicate 20GB and some cores to it. IT CRASHES ALL THE TIME.

I got some replies on the their Forum but no one from the support ever responded.

Its windows 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition - 64Bit, Its not a VPS but a dedicated server so the cpu bottleneck is not the issue. Its a HP DL360 with 2 x Quadcore Xeon processors, running 15K SAS Disks on Raid1 which I bet are the best and expensive drives out in the market.

Did anyone face any problem like this? IF yes how did you cope with it?

Why would a template use 1gb per thread? Can you give more details of the template? Is it accessing a large file or text file? Does it do a lot of list processing?

I'm sorry unfortunately there is no program which creates packetbos for non programmers - I'm coding all my packetbots by myself with C++ and Autoit

I have zennoposter 3.6 and it's true that is resource intensive, I run it on my own PC with 6Gb RAM with 6 threads at the same time for account registration and my computer starts lagging and stuff like that, but anyway most of the times it does the job even if I setup a shitty VPN.

Zennoposter 4 is faster as it use Mozilla Firefox Engine if I remember well. Maybe will upgrade...
    What version do you use?

Server cannot be a problem, I am damn sure of that. agnosticon gave me a review in JRvip and it was fuckin awesome that I became a paying subscriber from the next day. He has helped me in every possible way. I know there's no problem from his end. I know a bit of server stuff too. Not at all a configuration problem.. The Problem is their support.. I am not claiming I am right here 100% but they could have helped me resolved it shouldn't they?

I use MP. The latest one is 4.2.5.0

windows server 2008 R2 or just windows server 2008? 64-bit or 32-bit? Did you see if the cpu can handle? What load of the cpu when you run at 10 threads? 5 threads? Sometime it won't be the ram but the cpu that is the bottle neck.

Because using Xrumer on my dedicated server, I can max out the cpu but only use 6gb or my 16gb of ram. A computer/server become sluggish and unresponsive if the cpu is maxed out.

demo has only 1 thread and you must enter any and all captcha's by hand :) i was trying something out on a demo version and the memory usage was way smaller than what you are explaining... maybe you are loading huge lists of info into memory?

    shailzrocks, hit me on Skype.

It will be good if you would be able to send us those projects to analyze why they use a lot of RAM. How they are build. It always depends on project. Unlimited loops, search by picture, huge tables and big regular expressions can cause increasing in RAM usage.

Something is VERY wrong with your set up - I run complex Zennoposter scripts on 60+ threads on a 4 gig machine. 2x2.6 Ghz processors, 1 gig internet (dedi) and it's as smooooooth as silk.

I can get it to crash, certain wait commands seem to mess it up and there are a few other issues that I work around.
Nearly all slowdown issues I've had in the past are script related. Most of those are down to some error in the coding (my coding)
Also - gloves off - Zenno and Ubot both require you to make compromises a little sometimes to get the power from them. Adding a second or two to a wait command, lowering the thread count just a little - stuff like that often has a huge impact (a far bigger impact than the scale of the change would suggest)

Without seeing your server set up and analysing your scripts no-one is going to be able to give you a definitive answer here I'm afraid. And I doubt who knows what they are doing is going to have the hours of spare time it might take to do that - but you might get lucky.

Power needs control - Zenno is VERY powerful, and needs a lot of control - the guys comparing it power for power with NukeCR and Magic Submitter really don't have a clue. Zenno and Ubot are a Looooong way ahead in terms of functionality and possibilities than those two "kiddy script" tools, and need that little bit more understanding to get to grips with.
