im doing research on yt channels/videos, trying to analyse why some do great and some dont . The channel i linked had over 1000 videos over 9 years and they barely get any views.

Has the algo classified his channel as ”bad” so it doesnt push his videos?

Because givning a video 10 views cant really be enough to know if its good or not..

if one were to be in this situation would it be best to create a new channel?

It depends on the mood. Stop having a either this or that mindset. You can enjoy both. Just because YouTube Shorts is a thing does not mean you cannot like long form content on YouTube anymore. When I say long form I mean non shorts. Both still get plenty of views on YouTube....

I’m also curious to know the reason behind it. Once I uploaded to one of my channels, it only got a maximum of 100 views in a week, so I deleted the videos. However, after some time, I uploaded again on that channel, and it skyrocketed. I think it is just luck to get picked by the algorithm.

there is almost 0 work on this channel, 0 improvement, 0 evolution , if compared recent video and a video 5 years earlier there is 0 change. they did't even bother to put some tags on videos))..if advice needed, i'd say go find yourself somewhere else, build your character and skills like storytelling, consistent work ethics get serious and one day come back. personal brand is all about changing, evolving, trying new things. if OP is the owner, it would tell me everything, if someone looking for easy money they can keep selling drugs
