There's a youtuber who has been making videos for like 5 years, and she never gained much views. She was stuck around 20k subs for those 5 years.

But a few months ago, she uploaded this video
It gained 2.5 million views, and her channel exploded. She gained over 450,000 subscribers.

Now normally I would just say she's lucky, but it doesn't seem right. How did a video of her just dying her legs gain 2.5 million views when her channel before that barely passed 3k average views? It isn't viral material.

It wasn't gradual either, I look at the videos stats, and it says her video went from like 2k views to over 100,000 in like 48 hours. and it only increased from there. Then all her other videos exploded with hundreds of thousands of views.

At first when that video was released a few months back, I thought maybe she purchased the views/subscribers. But the subscribers she gained were all legitimate ones that continue to watch her videos. It's just odd...

Creepy part is, the moment her channel exploded, she immediately moved out of her house and moved to L.A to live on her own. It's as if this was all some plan...

Is there anyone here who can look deeper into her videos/channel stats and maybe see what happened or what made that particular video explode?

well you can check it here http://vspstats.com/en/statistics/channel/AmandasChronicles it's all looks legit, there are many "strange" channles of youtubers that kickass, and we can't figure who the hell is watching this stuff, but i guess that every stupid bizzar niche does have a potentioal audiance somewhere on the internet, and she were very smart to create many videos (3-5 per week) and grab them.

But I still don't understand what made 2.5 million people find her video that quickly. If she was popular before that, You could say that her high sub count put her to the front page, but 2k viewers doesn't do that. How did hundreds of thousands of people know about that video within 48 hours?

It looks legit. She may have been mentioned or endorsed by some other big YouTube Creator, mainly because she only gained 15K subs out of that viral video, meaning many would have subscribed via channel.

I've also witness this happen on more than one occasion. Youtubers are around 30-50k subs. Stuck at getting less than 5k views per video and then out of nowhere they shoot up to 100k+ subs and each video got more than 100k views now... If u look at the social blade charts it's a huge spike. And to my understanding and experience the youtubers I was keeping track of sky rocketed after they joined a YouTube network. So idk maybe the networks helped them out or what but there is definelty something going on there.
