    Hi there,

Today after several months when I went to sign in to one of my youtue accounts, after putting my ID and Pass, youtube wanted me to announce my city where I mostly signed in in the past.
1: Did you ever face this notification?
2: In the past I used to use another dedicated IP (bought from this forum) to sign in to my account, and now after several moths I am using another IP to sign in (I don't have the original one), And I guess that's why I get this message.

So what Can I do to be able to sign in?

just use the city you signed in the last time from

They only want to know if you are owner of the account

normally they only ask this question if you signed in from 2 different parts of the world on the same day

    Thanks for your input buddy,

Several month ago when I created that YT account, I signed in via an IP from NewYourk (the IP was bought from this forum),
Today I signed in via an IP which I don't know where it was from! and I got the verification message, then I did not continue, and after a few hours I came back and signed in via a third IP and got the city notification! So what should I do? I inserted the NewYourk as my city and it did not accept it!

Sorry but don't you know any method so that bypass the verification problem I got today for free please?

    Thanks.

Answer the question and login. Go to whatismyip.com or something and query the IP/proxy you were using and see what city it'd located in. Chances are it's one of like 5 or 7 different cities. The most common data centers are in Seattle, Dallas, New York, Chicago, Denver, San Jose. There's more now, and I saw some new one's from the Carolina's actually about a year ago, but it'll probably be one of those cities there with the bigger data centers. Once you answer the question once though you can then lock that new IP to the account and never have to worry about that again unless you chagne IPs again from a much different location. Also make sure you're using an accurate source for determining the IP location. Try a few different places to see the make the best possible choice.

Also, and I'm kinda being a smartass, although I'm kind of not too, but you didn't spell it like that when you entered it did you? I know there's a lot of foreigners here, so that's why I said I'm not totally trying to be a smartass here, but it's New York, not NewYourk. http://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip_demo is a nice lil tool to check a few IPs here and there and get a pretty good location.
