Right guys just a quick question,

If i wanted to promote an offer via youtube could i do so via this method and not get any shit off of the affiliate networks because of it.

    Post a video

Link the video back to my website

Set up the website so that the user basically has to click on the ad

Pretty simply method but was wondering wether the networks would accept this as a valid source of traffic and if they could track it all the way back to the you tube video ?

That would work fine, and the referer would be your site however they probably wont click the advert/banner. What i'd do is have the link on youtube goto subdomain.maindomain.com then have a htaccess redirect to a cpa redirector script on your main page so your referer is your main site yet from youtube the visitor goes straight to the offer :)
