Youtube took away those "over delivered" mobile views

Remember the "We experienced overcounting for mobile device views for many videos on January 11th through January 15th. We will subtract the excess views on those days soon."???

Well they just took 125k+ off my total views just now but so far NOT from the videos that were inflated. Anyone else actually get views taken away?

No, I haven't added any views for 4 months. It was a YT problem where mobile views were over counted on their end for those few days. I went through socialblade and noticed way bigger numbers taken off many other channels as well.

Thanks for the update.. so far no issues from my buyers. But I request my buyers to update if any get removed, so we can see, how this can be fixed.

The reason wasn't because they removed mobile views... Its because they removed views from old videos that where deleted.

Not in my case, I have never deleted a video nor had one deleted ever in 3 years.

Yeah, I got the same message. And on top of that they deleted 2 of my top viewed videos.

sorry to hear that! I had zero fake views the last 4 months. It doesnt show up in your YT analytics but if you knew your TOTAL views or use socialblade you can see the deduction from your total there..... EVERY channel I have looked up had a HUGE swell in views on those dates so I think it will effect a lot of channels... I'm not that bummed, they were views I shouldn't have anyways but still sucks....
