What is deal with youtube? Do they block Ips? Close or pull videos based on IPs? Trying to make an attack plan here thanks.

I never had a problem with my IP even if my accounts are banned.

They don't block IP easily to my knowledge, but I will tell you for certain they are putting up captcha blocks on certain IP addresses. In particular certain proxies.

Awesome thanks guys...this will defiantly make things easier fuck uploading from behind a proxy.

If speaking about ban you mean that youtube shows you empty page when you try to login, then they ban. Actually I got my 2 servers banned, on one of the servers they banned not only one IP but all IPs related to the server (20 IPs), so I guess they banned the whole subnet. After about 2 weeks they unbanned it. But another server IP is banned for about month already and does not seem they gonna unban it at all!) So use proxies guys :)

LOL at ricaum. Um YES the do ban by IP sorry buddy. I have had about 30 ips banned. WHY? because I can change my mac address through my router and get a new IP, so I don't worry about proxies too much.

How you get banned?
Creating too many accounts from the same IP within a short period of time. Using tools like TubeAutomator, Massacre, Tube Booster, ect. Even if you use an IP with them, you still can get the accounts you created banned. And when that happens you get the IP banned. YouTube doesn't care too much about boosting, though they are blocking some of the proxies from TubeIncreaser making is slower for us to increase views. That and the noobs who think boosting 100k views will land them first page. But YouTube really does not like automated softwares that boost comments/ratings/favorites/subscriptions ect.

The list goes on. Basically, if you use those progs to boost your videos, you are risking getting your IP banned. And yes, still using proxies, can get your IP banned since there are transparent proxies.

Your attack plan should be to create tons of legit accounts. Create one, change your IP. Create another, change your IP. use a different IP for every account, as well as a different email address.

You can also get your link in the description banned. If that happens, your account only lasts about 3 days then it gets suspended. You can also get your videos banned. So you could be 100% legit, and using a video that is blacklisted, can get that account suspended.

If you are marketing, don't use any more than 5 videos on 1 account. And have like 10 accounts.

good info shudogg. youtube has been crackin down hard and shut down a few of my accounts

never been shut down myself... though I dread it every day.

I don't think they block IPs
But I'm pretty sure they ban multiple accounts created from the same IP.

Yes. Today they ban around 50 from my accounts, but my IP still working. All of them are created from the same IP.

chaser, what on earth were you doing to get a whole subnet banned ?

I register new accounts, let them sit for a few days then start boosting views starting at a few 100 per day and within a week up to 5 - 15K per day. Been doing this for months and havent had a ban of any kind. My videos get a max of 50 comments, ratings, faves etc, then I let them go viral. Then backlink to them.

After 3 notification your account get banned. That's why you shouldn't upload more than 3 vids to an account, imo.

I've had them throw up a captcha for a few days on my ip, but i've never been shut off entirely.

The message was something like: "We have received alot of requests from your network lately... Please enter captcha to continue"

You guys keep thinking they don't ban by IP. When you get hit you will be thinking, man I should have listened.

It is not necessary to upload through a proxy unless uploading hundreds of videos. The only time you need a proxy is when creating accounts and boosting.

I do not think the IP ban is permanent, but if the IP gets banned you will see a white page. You can access the homepage, but every other page is blank. The do ban email addresses, they do ban catchall domains, and for the last time, THEY DO BAN IPS!

If you know what you are doing, you can boost a video to #1 and get all the boosting accounts suspended, and still have your main video/account left untouched.

I boosted to #1 for "make money online" and held it until a few hours ago when google just updated all their shit again. I had all my bots suspended, and ran 3 sets of bots on it, all suspended, but the video is still alive a week later!

I have tons of videos on youtube. I am on first page 3 to 4 times for tough keywords. and have killed 100,000 bots in the process. Killed 100s of IPs, emails, and about 50 catch all domains. I wasted most of them during the learning process. I am sure if I redid it all again knowing what I know now, it would be 1/2 that. But that is what learning is for. To have 5 main accounts doing well, and to get them all deleted because of boosting.. then you go oops shit, that sucked. And wait a week or 3 to gets your traffic back.

THEY BAN IPS NOOBS!

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I think Youtube bans entire IP RANGES. I tried a trick where I'd automatically change my MAC address every 200 hits (thus slightly changing my IP, but keeping in the same tiny range). Youtube stopped counting my views.

Coincidence? Maybe.

Its better upload using through tubemogul.com or heyspread.com to prevent your IPs, meanwhile I do get accounts canceled several times and still I can create a new one with the same IP so for.

Can someone expand a little about tube mogul and loading vids through vs doing it through your own system ? Would this also be the same for Traffic geyser ?
