I was reading the Following article http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/youtube/2343-how-make-1000-day-exploiting-youtube.html and because it is closed I am unable to reply and ask a question about it.

First has anyone tried this method or a similar method to what the Thread is talking about?

If you have how does it work? Have you made money from it?

Also who would you recommend for a CPA Company to offer a Free Electronic Item? In the other post he just talks about Iphone, Well I thought why not use an android, laptop, MacBook, or even ipad?

    Thank you

I have hundreds of videos all over YouTube and Google promoting CPA offers, but they don't really make me a whole lot of money. I'm sure there are people out there who make good money from it but I never had much luck doing it that way. I started having more success by putting the CPA offers on my sites and using YouTube to drive traffic to them instead of direct linking to the offer

That thread is from 2007 so some of what he mentioned is pretty outdated, but the basic idea for promoting things still remains the same. You should check out this thread too if you're interested in making money that way. Pretty much the same method, but more up to date and talks more in detail about stuff

Wow you have hundreds of videos on youtube? Do you use others videos and edit them to make it look unique? With hundreds of videos is it safe to say you're making good money?
    Thanks for your inputs.

Yeah, most of them are unique and up to standard. Good quality and offer some value to the viewer.

I have a big mix of pretty much everything out there at this point. Whiteboard animations, mixed creative commons videos, live narrations over screen recordings, review videos by hot chicks I got on Fiverr and even me just talking directly to a camera.

I optimized them all, got most of them ranking good and they get plenty of organic views, likes and positive interaction, but the conversions are just shit

Let me just put it this way...If all of my videos were monetized with adsense or through an MCN, I'd probably be making 10x more just from that ad revenue alone than I do from the offers I promote. The only reason I don't do this is because the videos are spread out through dozens of different channels and to get each channel partnered would be a nightmare.

About 2 months ago I made $55 from a YouTube video I had promoting a clickbank product. That particular video was up for over 6 months before it ever made a sale, and it probably will never happen again. That one was just pure luck. Aside from that, everything else just makes me beer money for the week. Most of that coming from promoting affiliate links for other sellers on SEOClerks and content locking.

Making money this way is overrated IMO. You'll read all of this hype about making hundreds a day from it (and I'm sure some do) but I wouldn't get my hopes up about getting rich from it. If anyone out there is actually making really good money this way I'd like to hear about it. Maybe that can give me some motivation to get my YouTube shit going again.

Thanks for your super honest feedback. I'm one of those who have fallen to the YouTube hype you mentioned. I was just about to start some plans to create & upload videos like the ones as yours (video animation whiteboard, review videos etc etc). Now it seems I don't know where & what to start. Really nice if some members with good earnings can share something.

Making money on youtube is definitely not easy. I have a 3 year old gaming channel with almost 500 videos, with new ones posted at least 3 or 4 times a week, and I'm only making about $35/month from adsense. I have a site that's associated with the channel that gets 6-700 UVs a month and I'm trying to promote CPA offers but nothing converts, with adsense I make maybe an extra $2/month.

Well, Im with CPALEAD, and everyday i see other members making $100+ a day! My question is, how are they doing it? Ranking websites sprinkled with offers?

maybe the answer is in the niche. I think different niches have a different approach in youtube and other social media.

Yes, in YouTube niche is crucial. Clickbank products are never going to convert as well as CPALead offers/niches. Of course, there are experts who can laser target with keyword optimization, and manage to get the audience they are after. Others upload thousands of videos per day, and still make great money with low conversion rate. YouTube is just not the place for pushing products directly unless you apply yourself and become an expert on it. It's a good way to steer traffic to your website, though, and if you manage to retain that traffic and create returning visitors, chances are your offers will convert steady, if they correspond with what your traffic is interested in.
