    Hello I have a problem,
if I setup my firefox to use a proxy server and go to some page like whatsmyipaddress.com, it shows the ip address I have setup.
But than when I log into a youtube account and go to recent activities, it always shows the login from the location where I really am,
can someone please tell me why that is?

Thanks for your fast help, I use firefox cleared complete history runned c-cleaner, I use a private proxy from one of the sellers here on bhw, the thing is if I let my bot log into youtube with the proxy it shows the login from the proxy, I only have the problem when I do it manually which is irritating me at the moment ._.

Clear your browsers cookies and history before logging in from your proxy. You may use c cleaner.

Because they have some special way to get it.. it happens to me as well, I have a proxy 100% anonymous, and when you go to Google.com, type "what is my ip" it shows my REAL proxy, but when I use VPN to connect to another connection and a proxy as well, it shows the address of VPN, which means Google is able to know your address. However, I tried to investigate something and I came up that this is only user-sided and it doesn't really get your IP, but shows you it through your browser options. Not sure about it though!

    User-sided? Really?
Google can, literally, save whatever info they want from you any time they want.

I really doubt it is user-sided. I can't find a reason for it to be user-sided.

If you could ellaborate, would be great :D

Well, as I said I wasn't so sure about that one, because I tried to search on Google for some people who had the same problem and I can't seem to find the link again, but there was one guy explaining that they can use a command through Mozilla to output your real address without them saving it on their server or being able to see that.. but I guess it doesn't seem right.

It might not only be the fact that you didn't clear your cookies, but maybe it's the type of proxy you're using.
Some are transparent and will let the server catch your real IP.

Thats may be because you ae not using a good proxy or you are not clearing your cookies.

You seem to have solved your problems through adjusting the settings. You need to be more careful next time before your accounts start getting banned. Also make sure your proxies are good and never forget to clean your cookies!

A browser also submits it's language to a website. So if you are using let's say firefox in dutch, it submits that it's dutch to the website. A website like Youtube reads the info and automatically shows you Youtube in dutch.

Your browser gives away way more about you than you think. Go to http://ip-check.info and make the anonymity test, to test your System. You will probably be shocked.
