You're saying that you made some fresh channels and got banned for no reason?
Buying views / likes / subs will always work, just ensure your supplier delivers high quality, not shit like addmefast.

It has been always like this shits happening periodically
Many will quit the game because they think it became harder and simply they are too lazy to do their new homework
The bests will always find a way to beat the new game, no matter what
So it's up to you, i say
"Adapt OR DIE"

What the hell is this?

[NAME],
Today we are announcing changes to the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). While our goal remains to keep the YPP open to as many channels as possible, we recognize we need more safeguards in place to protect creator revenue across the YouTube ecosystem.
LEARN MORE

What's Changing
Under the new eligibility requirements announced today, your YouTube channel, [NAME], is no longer eligible for monetization because it doesn’t meet the new threshold of 4,000 hours of watchtime within the past 12 months and 1,000 subscribers. As a result, your channel will lose access to all monetization tools and features associated with the YouTube Partner Program on February 20, 2018 unless you surpass this threshold in the next 30 days. Accordingly, this email serves as 30 days notice that your YouTube Partner Program terms are terminated.

One of YouTube’s core values is to provide anyone the opportunity to earn money from a thriving channel. Creators who haven’t yet reached this new threshold can continue to benefit from our Creator Academy, our Help Center, and all the resources on the Creator Site to grow their channels. Once your channel reaches the new threshold, it will be reviewed to make sure it adheres to our policies and guidelines, and if so, monetization will be re-enabled.

Fuck you Youtube. You can suck it. Going after the little guy :D

Youtube is our school president here :D

My channels got kicked off the youtube partnership with the new requirements, fuck YT!

"To be approved, all channels need at least 4,000 watch hours in the previous 12 months and 1,000 subscribers. This requirement allows us to properly evaluate new channels and helps protect the creator community."

The Merging Is Complete

There were several smaller threads on this topic, so I merged them into one.

Couldn't you just publish an Unlisted video that's 12 hours long and just open it in a few tabs using a VPN? Would think that would get past the hours watched eventually if you leave it run all day.

it's a good update for old channels at least you may get more ads
in this case people should focus on one or 2 channels not like before some have xxxx:)

I received this message from YT today, I have only started building up my channel a couple of months ago but have been an adsense partner for years so i think its a bit of a sucky way to treat the people who actually provide the content for YT. A lot of my videos are niche so don't get a huge number of views and subscribers but I was making a few dollars per month and it was slowly growing, I now wonder if it is worth buying views and subs to keep the channel monetized or just abandon it now.

I've been doing my channel for about 3 years slowing building high quality content whitehat style making a few bucks a month (not enough to actually cash out). now youtube does this?! sorry, i dont have 1000 subscribers and 10000 hours views. :(

I will be deleting my niche channels and focus on one quality channel until i can reach the threshold, and then branch out. no point in doing tiny niche channels that get 300 views per video. Even if you manage to produce a viral 10million view video, you won't have enough subscribers to monetize. Another blow to the gut.

They may be doing this to protect their ad business, as they most likely want their ads banked on active, quality creators. So it's a plus for them, but does definitely impose some obstacles on the little guys.

Use YouTube as a means of content marketing, promotion, spreading awareness in the meantime and utilize other revenue channels until you reach their requirements.

Requirements are too high for most, that's coming from someone with several million views and several hundred thousand subs.
