I am not really sure how it can impact people on this forum but I am sure about one thing: This new update give a LOT of power to copyright owners because as of today you have no more choice when you receive a content ID, they will always have the last world. You can no more talk about faire use....

Now it's ever you accept the decision of the copyright owner and he monetize your video or you get a strike (unless you delete the video).

which country account you have?

for me still old form

Are you sure it’s new? I’m quite sure it has been there for quite some time.

I knew about the 3 strikes thing since 2010 or so :D I actually thought it got removed in the recent years, guess not.

still i am not able to found this one in form

where this form located?

This is a pointless update. In my case, even uploading the latest movie doesn't show the copyright claim mark. video, sound source. There are many ways to circumvent copyright.

Fair use policy is dictated by commentary. So, If you take something copyrighted and put your own commentary on it & edit the video a bit, it falls under fair use policy.

They would have to change the actual policy for what you’re saying to be true.

You don't understand, now you can argue whatever you want about faire-use if they say no to your counter content id claim you got automatically striked. This was not the case before.

So it mean now the only way to really talk about faire use is to get a strike first and then do a counter notification. But it mean if you have more than 3 strikes, your channel is dead unless you manage to win all your counter notification but this extremely risky to do so.

Have they made an official announcement regarding this ?

- If this is the case , anyone now can take down any channel by giving 3 false copyright strikes . Once you give the strike you can just reject the appeal and now with 3 rejections their channel will be deleted , right ? Scary to say the least.

I dont think you understand what OP is saying. Before that there was no way for the claimant to reject your appeal , but now they can and you get a strike.

In fact, it was possible before for the claimant to reject the appeal, but in 99% of the cases the video was staying up and the channel owner could do an another appeal of the copyright claim.

Now the video is instantly striked if the appeal is rejected.

This is huge change, it mean you could no more argue indefinitely about the claim you got. It's ever you delete the video or accept that the claimant earn money out of your video.

Okay youtube, game is over, now produce really shit...

Most of the reaction channels are fucked now including one of mine.

Yeah, but that’s IF you have copyrighted content and IF you disagree to:
- mute the section of you video with copyright audio.
- runs ads on the video.
- trim the video of the copyrighted segment.
- share partial revenue for the video of the copyrighted segment.

This really depends situationally. I mean, overall it reads bad, but again it depends on the situation.

This is official https://support.google.com/youtube/thread/171615487?hl=en

This is pretty scarry since now only vetted people will be able to appeal. If you are not eligible you cannot appeal...
