Welcome ladies and gentlemen to my YT journey thread.

Backstory

I'm 29years old, working student with a passion for IM.

Right now, earning about 650eur a month with my current job. As you may have guessed, I was not born in a native English speaking country, so it is what it is. My current schedule is a 24h work shift and then 72hours off. In those 72h I go to classes and study or do whatever. I will finish school at the end of this year so there will be more time to hustle. Don't have any plans to utilize my degree. Currently saved up ~19k (15k will be invested in the near future), have my own apartment, and a decent car (for those wondering, my parents did help me out with cash, love you guys). If I rent out my current apartment, I could raise my income to ~800eur a month, which is an option, as I could go live with my parents, but only after my studies are done. (traveling/time costs are too much).

What has been done so far
Right now I own 6 channels with a total of ~450k views. Started at the end of March 2020, started gaining some traffic at the end of June.
I'm using the music/claiming method. Made my own song and now all the claiming stuff is being managed by Amuse.
I have decent internet and some video editing skills. Also, my PC is decent so I can pump out a good amount of videos every month.
Have earned ~15usd so far, but the next month should bring me ~50eur, and the month after that ~60-70eur. Will see. With that money, my initial investment will be repaid.
Sorry, but not gonna disclose what kind of content I'm uploading.

My goal?
I want to quit my current job. The pay is really not that good and the job is kinda dangerous so I need to make more money to sustain myself and my GF.
My short term goal (within 1-2 years) is to start earning ~700eur/month from Youtube. That would bring my total to ~1400eur with my current job. Decent enough to sustain 2 people in my country.
In 5 years I would love to earn 2-3k solely from YT. With that cash, I would be willing to quit my current job.
My long term goal is to save 150k within 10years. With that, I can buy 3-4 good apartments and rent them out. With the monthly cash flow, I could semi-retire.
My dream is to buy an apartment on the same street where I study. It is a really beautiful place but the apartment costs in that area are ~150-200k for a 2-3room apartment. And it is not that great of an investment but still, a man has to dream.

What's next?
Need to open more channels. Have done some research on proxies. My current channels have some long term survivability content, however, I need to put some high-risk stuff on other channels thus I cannot allow YT to connect all the accounts. If one will get terminated others may follow. Need to diversify but in a smart way.

Adsense is kinda crap with the claiming method. Need some t-shirt designs made and start promoting them. Some of my channels IMHO are well designed for selling merch. My GF is in graphics design so I'm in luck. Affiliate marketing with Amazon should also be an option.

Need to create one more song and go with a different management company because Amuse is asking too much for a 1year content ID subscription. There are cheaper companies out there.

I will post an update every month. Stay tuned.

GL With your journey
from what you are sayying i guess your r arabian right?
cause your plans and goals sems like a morroco person right :p

How did you get 450k views in short amount of time?

How did you get 450k views in short amount of time?
One of my videos was picked up by the algo and now has reached ~110k views and some other videos also had some semi-decent growth. My main strategy is to pick content that people would always be interested in longterm :)

October update
Doing quite well all things considering. Now have 13 or 14 channels. 5 of them just started. Barely making any views but they should be picked up by the algorithm in the near future (3-6months probably).
2 other channels are bringing me ~80k views a month but my main channel with the video of the 110k views was picked up again by the algorithm and is now in this month alone collected ~750k views. So this month should bring me ~1mil views.

Was accepted in amazon associates and have earned 1.94usd so far with 5 confirmed sales (thanks 24h cookie) :) Still, not complaining as I am not actively promoting those links. Just put them in the description.

Last week started promoting my T-shirt store and have made 1 sale with an overall 14usd profit! Also not complaining as only 2 low view videos have my new links with a short video promotion of the store.

Will keep updated on the journey.

Good luck with your journey. But don't you think that you can make more from 1 or 2 channels if you make the channels genuine? Handling tens of accounts for 1k-2k/month is too much of a hassle. I may be wrong, tho.

I kinda agree with you but first, the channel needs to be approved for monetization which IMHO is a very doubtful scenario as all of my videos are with copyright claims. Even if it will be approved, what to upload? I'll think about it. The issue is that I don't have a lot of money to experiment with.

Right now my limit is ~20 channels that I can actively manage without spending too much time. I render/upload multiple videos at the same time and let them do their magic.

Last month I ended with about ~900K views in total, and I can show proof if someone doesn't believe me :)

I think I know what I need to do to succeed in this journey. Here are some thoughts for others.

First, you can't expect anything from your channel for the first 3 months even if you upload every day.
Second, it may take up to 9 months to start seeing the first results.
Third, you won't become rich by doing this method, and it is a really daunting task to render/upload multiple videos a day. Tops I can see you can earn without losing your mind is ~1.5-3k EUR a month.
Forth, when you do start seeing results from multiple channels, it is a nice feeling. :)

Thanks for reading.

are you using the same adsense for all the YT channel?

Interesting journey, good luck.

Can you explain more about the music / claiming method ?

I had a 2 sec laugh when you said you have to make more money to sustain yourself and your gf
