Youtube Journey to 1000 Subscribers

Good luck on your journey, so right now you are just getting the videos from the small channels and uploading it on your own?
doesn't this create copyright problems?

Right now yes, that's what I'm doing. Initially I was getting original content and edit it on my own but it's takes a lot of time so I'm going to do that when i can get my channel monetized.

No, I don't get copyrights because those small channels take their videos from other sources such as ( joe Rogan, Impact Theory etc)

I got my music from YouTube Library ( bg music)

Are you making original content?

Right now I just take what's on trending and post it on my channel ( what's on trending on my niche). I found some channels that cut the videos from various sources such as Joe Rogan, Impact Theory etc and they just cut the footage without bg music, watermark, overlay footage etc.

If I find a video with a lot of views in a small amount of time and that video is watermarked, I'll find the original source and make it on my own. Usually those big brand like Joe, Impact, etc will not strike you because your channel it's their free advertising. I put those channel and everything in the description of my video

Don't you think this will get with copyright issues overtime ?

Nope because it's a win-win situation. If my channel got let's say millions of views I link to their channel in the description and everything so basically they get free advertising. There are a lot of channels that are doing that in my niche so I don't see any problem.

The problem will be, Youtube won't monetize such content even if you make it original by heavily editing, they want original commentary. Maybe try doing affiliate marketing and also print on demand to monetize your channel when you get a base of subscribers.

I'm not really sure about this because there are some competition in this niche and a lot to come. A lot of my competition has different channels in different niches ( cash cow ) and I'm pretty sure that they would stop posting if YouTube wouldn't monetize them. My content's under fair use, I don't have any single copyright issue and I have this channel for 6 months also how are channel monetized in the sports niche ( top goals/ top 5 best players in the world, etc) if youtube wants only original content.

Cuz I been trying to do similar things like compilation channels and even they managed to survive for awhile they eventually got demonetized after a human review. As far as I know, all those big channels out there, they have large base of subscribers so Youtube lets them aside, however its getting harder for new comers to enter this game. Anyway, just sharing what I know about monetization, and its always a good idea to have multiple ways of monetization on a channel not only depends on Adsense. Good luck to your journey and hope you could share with us your upcoming results :)

That make sense now, let's hope for the best

Your niche is motivational right ?

Yes and no, I have just a couple of videos on this niche because is so saturated.

Mainly financial and good information about mindset, information about the brain ( for success), etc

Update

I haven't posted any updates yet. I had some exams in the last period so I let my YouTube channel for a while but things are going well.

Things are going good but really slowly. I still wait for that video that can change the whole channel.

Subscribers so far: 85 ( 16 subs in the last 7 days)
Views ( total): 14.1k views and I got 2,8k views in the last 7 days which is good if you ask me

I got one video that is doing really really good, I have 3,5 k views with 60% retention I should let Youtube do their thing with this video.

I have read some other journeys here and some of the guys just bought an old YouTube channel already monetized and I think this is probably the best way to start with YouTube. I didn't know that but on my next channel, I will do that for sure.

I saw another dude that used SMM Panels to grow his YT channel to 1000 subs by buying subs and views. I don't know if this is the right way I'm still searching to find if it's ok to do that because I don't want to get my channel demonetized in the future.

Update in a year or so

I haven't posted a video since my last update here which was on Sept 8, 2020. On that day I had the following stats:
-Subscribers 85
-Vires in total - 14.1 k

Since then I had some videos that blew up (161k, 66k, 20k, 10k, 6k )
Subscribers at the moment: 1.3k
Views in total: 280k
Revenue: $50

Right now I'm getting like $10 / month passive and some of my videos ranked very well on different kws.

I'm thinking if I should keep this journey going.
