Just want to share some information here:

"YouTube's approach to handling bot views differs based on the traffic source:

External bot views are generally harder for YouTube to detect and remove for several reasons:

They often come from diverse IP addresses and sources, making them appear more like legitimate traffic.

External traffic can include legitimate referrals from search engines, social media, and embedded videos, so YouTube is more cautious about removing these views.

YouTube's algorithms look at traffic sources separately, so external views don't directly impact internal ranking factors.

In contrast, bot views that browse YouTube directly are easier to detect and remove because:

YouTube has more data on user behavior within its platform to identify suspicious patterns.

Internal traffic sources like search and suggested videos are more important for YouTube's recommendation system, so they're more closely monitored.

Direct bot traffic often shows telltale signs like abnormally high click-through rates or short watch times.

While YouTube doesn't necessarily approve of external bot views, they're less likely to take action against them unless they detect clear manipulation attempts."

I have this video, 10 days after I posted it, it took off from Google SERPS. It was showing the big YouTube thumbnail on top of Google SERPS. The traffic from Google was crazy. Google search external because like 68% of the traffic to this one video.

After about 1 month, YouTube search and suggested overtook Google external as the main source of traffic.

So I think the Google external love powered the video, them YouTube liked it and started suggesting it more.

In the past 4 days, Google external has taken over again as the main traffic source

Brother, I want to ask, I have 200 Android phones, how to rank my keywords? First of all, I want to show that I am a Chinese My keywords are all in Chinese, but my channel doesn't seem to be able to rank keywords. I use 4G mobile proxy IP And it's all old accounts and 200 phones, my key word is 【比特币】

Youtube can detect phone farms views based on behavioral analysis and browsing patterns within YT platform. This is why your video is not able to rank despite of the 200 phones you have to search and view your own videos.

What method can I use to rank

The most bulletproof method right now is to get real people with real device and ip address to search and view your video

So if I have 200 mobile phones, then use 4g rotation agent, and preheat the account for 7-14 days to simulate real people as much as possible, can this optimize my video

Basically, YouTube cares more about views from search and recommendations. Bots there are easier to detect cause they act weird. And they're usually chill about the outside ones unless they're super obvious

It would be a lot better to just simulate a real human being, and if every time you behave like a robot, it must be detected that all of my devices are real devices,

Your observation highlights an important aspect of YouTube’s view tracking and ranking system. Reasons are, view validation, external and internal metrics, engagement metrics and global demographics.
