YouTube Hustle: Proven Channel Ideas to Inspire You

Nothing in here is helpful, 12000 to 6000 USD for a animation platform.

You could say if you have a generating income explore this concept, its dead on arrival, maybe before 2017.

The goals to start from 0, sadly nothing in here illustrates that.

I think I understand the purpose of these videos, they may inspire but given you said you have clients, and your backstory is your out of the game, whatever that means tells me your promoting your channels.

I guess is fine but since you didn't establish that at the beginning and you're shoveling in videos here and there tells me your ideas while helpful is only helpful to you.

Oh yes there's ways to boost on YouTube, but bhw is shark on fish site you gotta be mindful.
YT is not a get rick quick scheme. Its a lot of work

Yes, the 3d renders helped a lot, but the main value here is the niche. You can have all the editing skills and technology, but if you put it into a niche nobody is interested in then you cant make money. The market here + the improved video which leads to better engagement is the winning combination here.
Yes, no doubt in that. As I said, you're giving a lot of value here. I just added my input to it.
And really thanks for the ideas. I've got a perfect idea to start a new longform channel after reading your thread.

Another Niche: Educational Animation Videos

This niche is absolutely ripe for creators looking to leverage AI to produce content that was once expensive and time-consuming. Look at MinuteEarth:
https://www.youtube.com/@MinuteEarth/videos

They tackle fascinating, curiosity-driven topics like:

  • "Are Scientists Going Extinct?" (89K views in 2 weeks)
  • "Why Don’t All Rivers Make Canyons?" (452K views in 4 weeks)
  • "Why Haven't We Cured Cancer?" (147K views in 1 month)
With just 385 videos, this channel gets 5+ million views per month, bringing in over $20,000 monthly. And they’re not alone. Channels like The Infographics Show:
https://www.youtube.com/@TheInfographicsShow/videos
are pulling 50 million views per month, making upwards of $400,000 per month!

Why This Niche Works

  • Evergreen Topics: Science, nature, and “why” questions always attract curious audiences. These videos stay relevant for years, ensuring long-term traffic.
  • Massive Reach: Educational content appeals to all ages and demographics, especially since YouTube promotes family-friendly videos.
  • AI Levels the Playing Field: Tools like Sora and ChatGPT make creating whiteboard or animation-style videos more accessible than ever. What used to cost thousands can now be done on a budget with the right AI workflows.

How to Get Started

  1. Generate Ideas
    • Start by feeding ChatGPT 10 topics from MinuteEarth or The Infographics Show. Ask it to generate more unique ideas in a similar style, and you’ll never run out of content.
  2. Use AI for Production
    • Use Sora or similar tools for creating animations and whiteboard visuals.
    • Let ChatGPT help with scriptwriting—it’s fast, scalable, and easy to tweak for accuracy.
  3. Focus on Simplicity
    • You don’t need Pixar-level animations. The beauty of this niche is in simple visuals paired with clear, engaging storytelling.

Why Now is the Time to Act

This kind of content is going to blow up. As AI tools become more accessible, more creators will jump in—but right now, it’s still an underserved niche. With AI, the “average joe” can now compete with big-budget channels like The Infographics Show.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it. The tools are here, the audience is massive, and the potential is insane. Get started now, and you could build a channel that’s not just profitable but evergreen. What are you waiting for?

You're omitting a crucial info here.
Look at his first 2 videos and then the last 2 videos.
In the first 2 videos he posted, there was just cam footage, still images etc.
Then he took a break for 3 months, either learned blender or partnered with someone, and used 3d renders in his next (3rd video). This gave him the real boost and the virality. I'm almost sure that other videos skyrocketed after he started using 3d renders.
It surely can be done without 3d renders, but that's the main USP of his videos. It makes the video more engaging.

No hate on you though. I appreciate what you're doing. The value in this thread is a lot more than what all Twitter gurus preach, combined..!
Here’s where things get crazy: with SORA’s new update, you don’t even need to learn Blender or partner with someone skilled in 3D.

SORA now lets you take a single image and turn it into video footage. This means you can literally recreate scenes and bring them to life within seconds, even if you have no prior skills. For niches that don’t have existing footage, this is a total game changer. You can use photos to simulate an engaging, almost cinematic experience without spending weeks (or tons of money) on 3D modeling.

This kind of tech opens up so many niches that were previously out of reach. The few creators who jump on this will dominate, while most will sit on the sidelines. Honestly, in the next 12 months, this is going to be a goldmine for those who act now.

First Niche: Animated Story Channels

This niche revolves around animated stories, which are hugely popular among teenage girls. A great example of a smaller channel in this space is Sci-Fi Story Animated:
https://www.youtube.com/@scifistoryanimated/videos . This channel has only 2 long form videos , very inconsistent and still pulling in 130,000 views per month.

The bigger player in this niche is MSA, likely pulling in $200,000+ per month:
https://www.youtube.com/@MSA.official

How to Replicate This:

  1. Understand the Content
    • Visit a channel like MSA and analyze their videos. Here's an example:
    • Use a tool like Anthiago to convert the video into text and get the script:
      https://anthiago.com/
  2. Leverage AI for Ideas
    • Take the script into a ChatGPT thread and say something like:
"Take note of the script I just shared. Now, I need 3 original story ideas that would appeal to teenage girls. Get inspired by the style of the script but make sure these ideas are completely new."
    • This will give you fresh story concepts to build your own animations.
  3. Create the Animation
    • Hire an animation agency from platforms like Upwork. A good agency will handle the animation and voice-over for you.
    • Expect to pay $500-$1200 per video, depending on the length and complexity.
  4. Invest in Scripts
    • If you don’t want to rely on AI for scripts, hire a creative scriptwriter. You can find talented writers on platforms like Upwork or Fiverr.

Why This Niche Works

Teenagers binge-watch these videos, and the audience is highly engaged. Once you have a bank of 20 videos, you could generate $3000-$10,000 per month in ad revenue. For an investment of about $25,000 (for 20 videos), the returns can be highly rewarding over time.

This is a goldmine if you’re consistent and put effort into creating high-quality content.

I wanted to circle back to the MSA niche (https://www.youtube.com/@MSA.official) because something huge just happened that could completely change the game for kids' and teenage animation content.

With SORA’s new update, the cost of producing these videos is about to drop dramatically. Remember how I mentioned it costs around $1200 per video? Well, with SORA’s tools, you can now automate a huge part of the animation process, slashing production costs while still delivering high-quality visuals.

This means the barrier to entry for this niche has just been lowered significantly. If you’re smart and get in early, the next 12 months could be insanely profitable. But here’s the thing: the longer you wait on the sidelines, the harder it’ll be to break through. People are going to dominate this space fast, and once they’ve established themselves, it’ll be tough to compete

I need to point out something huge that’s going to shake up niches like police cam videos, flight accidents, train crashes, and even thieves getting caught. With SORA’s latest update and other new video generation tools, the days of endlessly searching for dash cam or police footage are pretty much over.

Now, you only need a few photos to create b-roll and footage clips, which means the barrier to entry has been reduced significantly. Producing content in these niches is not only cheaper now but also way faster. For example, imagine creating dash cam-style videos without needing real footage—you can simulate scenes using just AI tools.

This opens up so many untapped opportunities, but there’s a small window to act before big players catch on and dominate. Right now, a channel with just 5 videos can pull 1 million monthly views, but once the barrier to entry drops and more creators flood in, the game changes. You’ll likely have to 10X your output just to get the same views because supply and demand will shift.

The smartest creators will jump in now, dominate, and make $500,000–$1 million before the space gets crowded. If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it. The tools are here, the opportunity is massive, but it won’t last forever. Act now, or someone else will

I get where you’re coming from, but let me be blunt—whining and complaining won’t change your life. Only strategic action will.

While you’re here venting about what’s hard or unfair, others are out there taking advantage of new tools, studying competitors, creating better videos, and pushing their creativity. Nothing is handed to anyone on a silver platter, especially not in this game. The world doesn’t reward you for complaining; it rewards you for taking action.

And let’s be real—there’s always someone out there starting with less than what you have who’s willing to work harder, learn faster, and stay more consistent. Over time, they’ll achieve more than you ever will if you stay stuck in this mindset. That’s just the truth.

The word is ACTION. Whether you start from $0 or $10,000, it’s about making the most of what you have. You don’t need perfection, you need persistence. The market is full of opportunities, but only for those willing to take charge instead of sitting on the sidelines waiting for things to get easier.

Be creative. Be resourceful. Start now. The tools and ideas are here—you just have to make them work for you.

That comment was almost a week ago, things have shifted.

You don't need a forum to know that.

@elitebill.939370 I got inspired on your post and started a channel, whenever I give a prompt in chatgpt it only generates around 750 words story when I ask for around 3k word it says I cant do it, Can you give some idea on it?

Hey BHW fam,

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of building 50+ YouTube channels (a mix of my own and for clients). While I’m no longer in the game of building channels for others, the process taught me so much about what works and what doesn’t. I’ve seen firsthand how even the simplest ideas can turn into consistent income streams.

In this thread, I want to share Good channel ideas I’ve come across—channels that are not that hard to replicate and have decent to massive potential.

Here’s what I’ll be breaking down:

  • Channel ideas you can model or get inspired by.
  • Why these niches are successful and how they generate income.
  • Practical tips to help you start creating your own.
  • Realistic earning potential (ads, affiliates, sponsorships, etc.).
My goal is to inspire someone out there to take action and dive into YouTube. It’s not as complicated as it might seem, and with the right niche, you can absolutely make it work.

Feel free to join the conversation, ask questions, or even share your own experiences. Let’s turn this thread into a resource that sparks action and success!
thanks you so much for this content. Please share more!

This is my favorite part of this thread!!
Will try to look into SORA later.

This would require what's most important and you have no control off: luck. There is nothing you can do to have 1 million views a month with 5 videos, you just need the algo luck. Most AI channels are stuck in the mud and get no views.

All these weird niche channels are faceless videos ?

I see the channel of Spencer Haws = Niche Pursuit, weird he showing boring one page websites who making $20-50k a month (apps websites) . I wonder how he will know how much a websites makes in a month? Using Ahref tool I guess ?

But how serious is this guy ? Is he showing flunkes and shady numbers on his channel?

Happy Sunday !

Isn't it a waste of time to start a channel without knowing or seeing the viewing potential of the niche? I think it's necessary to first monitor whether the niche is currently being watched using tools like VidIQ or trendtube.io.
