so i reupload a short but viral cat video whom happens to under license by media company. Within 24hrs of uploading they were able to detect my video. The question is how are they able to manually detect the video when it has been edited via premiere pro and reuploaded in a foreign language?

and is there anyway to bypass this?

Is not the owner who detect that you stoled his video but its youtube. When you post a video of someone else without license youtube automatically detect your video and on most of cases they delete it. You can edit it but they check it every second of video and thats how they catch you.

There are couple of ways by which you can make your stolen videos last a bit longer then usual, like adding couple of extra sec on the video, a watermark, add a custom welcome and ending slide. You can also change the voice over/ background music with your own. Yes some of them will be time consuming but they can help your videos last longer. i had some videos stay up for more then 2 years now.

maybe the niche you are using has very strong copyright policy, also.. try speeding up the video and audio by 0.07 seconds. worked for me twice
