@cybercyber i agree i
But how? I have 300k+ subs and it's really hard to keep people clicking on things. Social media is mostly for good looking people, very charismatic people, or people that become famous in X platform like YT or twitch but they are public figures so they attract their fanbases around.

Us that are shy and always depressed just cannot do it. And even if you were outgoing, theres an infinite pool of outgoing people trying to do the same. I have always seen this as a lottery. The algorithm finds someone that gets lucky and the snowball starts and the start getting traffic. No matter were you are, if the traffic is cut it's over.

I have always wanted to have a website with articles and make some more money than with ad revenue from YT but I just know it will not work, and im concerned with breaking a TOS and lossing my adsense account. For instance, you mention the wrong topic, or missplace ads, or something like that. Also they seem to have raised the bar so much to get approved to place ads on a blog/website.

What are the requirements in 2019 to place Adsense ads in a blog/website? can you point to a website that you started from scratch and its doing good?

The feeling of starting from scratch is just too depressing. You keep putting out content, and nobody gives a f*ck. Twitter is definitely useless to grow traffic. Instagram, I don't see how unless you are good looking. Twitch... there's a sea of people streaming, nobody really gives a flying f*ck. I only see Youtube as the only place to keep putting out content until one of them go viral and you get some traffic going (which once again, if cut, it's over).

For me the website world is totally alien, I don't even know how to make a site. I don't know how it would be like to place stuff.
Am sorry you have to go through this with you tube. yeah it sucks but come on man, Now think positive your success might reside on your new journey and perhaps you will earn way way more than before there is enough fish for everyone in the sea. staying where your currently at without a channel and angry about it wont bring it back. i can tell u one thing, you got your channel to 300k i presume all by your self, it means you can start afresh and get it to more than it was before there is some one out there who probably have tried to get there channel to 10k in years but didn't work. yes its a cruel world but loosing your channel might be the best thing that ever happen to you i know it sounds off but look at it this way what if you got your new channel and make average $100 a day? no one saying its not going to be hard but definitely possible.

I feel you...

BUT this is the perfect example for why you should NEVER PUT ALL YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET.

Most TOS are so sensitive that even the slightest violation causes an extreme f*ck up.

You spent the past 3 years building $15/day in income which isn't great considering the amount of time you spent, and now you're facing termination.

Youtube traffic doesn't pay well for every vertical. I try to capture the high-end and prefer to get less traffic for more money. It takes about the same amount of work.

Like a blog, Youtube takes a long time to build and can be taken away from you with one update which you have no control over.

Try building multiple sources of income.. you won't be as disappointed when one breaks down on you.

may be this why people say dont put all your eggs in one basket
and dont depend on platforms to make money for you like youtube or any other.

see it as best time of your life not worst, this is from where you can grow like never before. All you have to do is think different. Dont ask me how.

Stop the whining. That's not going to help.

Instead, why not try to fix things? Get a job, teach people how to do animation etc. Think of the next thing that is gonna bring home the bacon.

Looks like this update really did a number on your channel. On the other hand, just earning $15 from such a massive subs base is too low. Is this normal earnings for youtube?

Bruh, with a channel that has 300k, you can command lots of money for sponsored content. Sure since your demographics is kids, they might not have credit cards, or buy through affiliate links but that doesn't matter. There are sponsors out there that only care about brand building and getting their product or brand infront of a large audience. It doesn't even have to lead to a direct sale.

They can sponsor your video. Just reach out to brands in your niche, give them a 3 tiers level of sponsorship formats and some data on your demographics. They're are always companies looking for influencers to work with. With your YT channel being probably in the top 5% of all youtube with 300k subs, this definitely qualifies it as a influencer.

Get creative, don't depend on YT partnered ads. You could be making $5-10k a month of just 1 sponsor who wants to support and have their brands associated with content like yours and an audience like yours. It doesn't have to translate to direct sales for them.

Also you should definitely build your own wordpress site, and reupload all your videos to it as blog posts with an article or short description for SEO.

You should also look at uploading your videos on facebook, now they've started monetizing FB pages and the CPMs over there are apparently really high right now as there isn't much competition.

Also look at selling your animations as a bundle on amazon video. Or just allow prime users to watch your videos for free, which Amazon then pays you a split off their membership fees. Similar thing as how artists get paid on Spotify.

There are a million ways you can just use the content you already have and start banking, just put your business hat on.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, this is something I learned real early on in my internet career, I've been making online as my sole source of income since finishing university and traveling the world for 10 yrs now.

NEVER NEVER EVER EVER DEPEND ON JUST 1 SOURCE OF ONLINE INCOME!!

There will always be ups and downs, with everything and setbacks like Google doing a panda update, or a niche becoming saturated or a CPA network changing rules on a success campaign etc etc, The best insurance is to always keep learning and always keep testing new things if you want to survive long term.

I can feel you, i had a youtube channel for kids animation as well, but then around 10 days ago, my views dropped massively, even if i uploaded it into 1080p, it would just come up in 480p.

Had a 40k sub channel, over 56million views. It was dusabled end of last yr for copyright....IMAGES, not even video. Still trying to get it back unsuccessfully. Learn to have many channels. Not one, not two but multiple if your aim is to earn money on youtube, They have become too big for their boots and I believe they will come crashing down sometime or someone will beat them in this game. It sucks, but at least you still got your channel. Think of people that have lost that much hardwork. On that channel I used to earn close to 6k per month. Try other things, other niche, have other c hannels. PS do not depend on just ONE single channel cause it could be gone in a second, and youtube can be very MEAN, they simply don't care.

I noticed you said you specialise in gaming videos, i might be able to help you monetize them independantly of adsense. If you are interested can you send me a pm with a link to your channel and i will see if i can help.

I think when he said gaming videos he meant animation using maybe game asset such as game character, he probably does the famous minecraft/roblox animations that were really famous back in the old days but just simply don't have the same success nowadays...

Yes I understand that, but I may be able to monetize whatever he has created in this niche, that's why I need to see his channel content.

Ok although i think that if his demographic is mostly children, monetizing it with affiliate links or merch or even patreon is gonna be pretty difficult, not impossible of course, but difficult. Unless you have a way to monetize for that demographic that's gonna be hard...
