Youtube gave these guys back their comments.. thanks for anyone who signed the petition here a few months back.

I posted about a channel on Youtube that makes videos about people with disabilities a few months back where the guy and the chick were crying because YT had stopped their channel from having comments and asked people here to sign a petition to YT to get them back.

Just saw this today:
These guys had the wait 3 fucking years to get their comments back, and their channel is awesome. Doing some serious good for the world.

Thanks to anyone who signed the petition when I posted, I know there was a bunch of people that did.

it's a great news

That is great news. I followed them since you posted about them. Some really powerful videos and terrible that YT took away comments.

A real problem when big corporations make decisions to "protect" people (children) and blanket everyone with no nuance.

Yeah man, I came across this channel accidentally and now every other day I watch one of these vids while eating lunch. Have found it's really good for grounding yourself and realising that whatever bullshit you think is a big problem in your life it's nothing really compared to what a lot of these guys are going through.

Man, you are right, never seen this channel but just watched a few vids and wow, the stories of these children and battles they face are truly grounding and inspirational, thanks for sharing.

Yeah, this is great, the comments are what make the community on youtube. As much as people also like to spam them! lol

I hate that some well known music artists don't have comments, its always great to scroll down and read them when you can, and especially with this video you posted, people with the same struggle can pick up inspiration.

Why it takes 3 years for google to change a setting on a channel, and 1 month for each rollout practically, it just shows you they must have the worlds biggest backlog of comment disabled channel appeals!
