I'm in a really great position now with YouTube marketing. Averaging £130 p/d (~$200) at the moment and growing! :) This is off of two YouTube accounts with just over 200 videos between the two. I'm reaching the stage now where I'm keen to scale it up even more and create new YT accounts, but I'm anxious that if I start creating new accounts under the same IP I will get banned across all my accounts. There might be too big a footprint or whatever? I know how to create new YT PVAs with Pinger and all that, but it's really just the potential IP problems which are keeping me up at night... Better to be safe than sorry!

So, to all you experienced YT marketers out there, what are your preferred methodologies for keeping it all squeaky clean while having multiple accounts? Surely proxies, but more specifically, do you use a tool to assist you / Firefox plugins to make sure you always log into your YT account from the proxy which you used to create the account etc.

I'm just doing well enough now that it would be gutting to see all my hard work come undone. Basically, I want to expand and diversify while at the same time spreading risk.

Any opinions / best practices on stuff like this would be greatly appreciated...

    Many thanks!

This is the major problem I see. You have too much risk associated with only 2 accounts and making that much money. People will go ahead and tell you quality is better than quantity and that you are living proof cause of your earnings, but I can go ahead and tell you if a competitor spots you then your videos could very well go down the drain. Youtube hates anything related to cpa, most affiliate links, they really do a simple report from competitor or just a quick amount of flags and you can say good by to your 130 dollar day.

You shouldn't worry too much about if you put too many accounts on 1 ip, just get a simple proxy service and your set. Worry more about competition taking your shit down, because when your shit goes down youtube doesn't tell you someone flagged you they just give you the same generic message. What that means is that people can hide behind youtube and go mass flagging other competitiors niches.

Mark my words, when a competitor spots you , you are going to be in a very hard spot.

It takes 4 flags to take down a comment down, and can be done from 4 accts 1 ip. Guess how many flagging it takes to take down a vid, and how many reports does it take to take down a whole account. I am sure since you have been busy with your earnings, you never really explored and got any ideas how easy it is to take down a whole account especially one that has cpa links to them. Those are the easiest, from my experience its 5 to 10 times easier to take down an account like yours than a random youtube account your flagging for the lols or just cause.

I've been so cautious with my videos that I now will only upload one video per new account to be safe. When putting so much
time money and effort into the seo of each video I don't see how you could possibly risk anymore then at least 5 videos on each account.

When you are at the mercy of youtube, better to be safe then sorry.

if those 2 accounts are 'quality' and not spam accounts then it's OK to use the same IP to create a new account. otherwise VPN and create more accounts, what happens when your account get banned for spam? you're shitfucked.

That's a nice chunk of change for 200 videos, makes me wonder what kind of channel you have there. Is it blatantly affiliate videos or something else?

Can you tell us more because a lot depends on how "white hat" your current videos are?

I would start creating multiple accounts, you can lose that $200/day almost instantaneously if something happened to your account.

Well, if you make multiple accounts using the same IPs, youtube is definitely going to massban all of the accounts. All YT marketers are facing the massbans because of which there is a huge unreliability in the income generated from using YT.

I would recommend you to just sitback and enjoy $100+ days as long as they last and when these days get over, start with mass spam.

My sugestion, let your 2 current accounts getting the money by itself.

and get an vps, on that vps what you will do is manage other accounts other than your first 2 (and you never login on your new accounts on your own ip, only using the vps)

On the vps you can do all the mass spam with other shitloads of accounts and advertise what you want without any worries that your two main accounts get banned since its a diferent computer (an virtual private server).
    thats what i would do.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts. And thanks djlobo, I think I will take your advise. That was kind of what I was thinking of doing. What is a good solution for VPS? I'm new to this, can you have multiple IPs within the same VPS or what? I'll have a poke around BHW to look for the best solution.

    Thanks again!
