    Hey all,
I got some questions I would like to ask the more experienced people about making clickbank product videos on youtube. Im quite new to this but have a rough understanding of what Im doing.
Basically what Ive done in steps are:
Find a clickbank product with gravity around 20-30
Use keyword planner/ubersuggest to find keywords
Use Animoto to make a quick 30 sec video with pics and text
Make a couple of copies of different video formats, each copy will be renamed to a top keyword
Post them on youtube with my shortened link in description plus what the product is, and also keywords in description and tags
Basically that is it...now my questions are:

    1) If Im looking for a long tail keyword to use on youtube that has no videos, I find it near impossible as most words and phrases that are similar give me pretty much the same youtube videos, ie phrases about dog training, diets and so on. What would I do in this situation?

    2) Every Clickbank product I try to promote, I have a look on youtube and there are MANY actual people promoting it that beat the pants off my 30 second video telling them to go to a website. How do you compete with them? And on the same note, most things I search for (dog training, photography, diets, health stuff), theres people telling me how to do it for free let alone buying a product.

I only put my videos (2 of the same product) on yesterday and they are around page 6 so its not too bad. I'll just wait and see how they go. I would really love to master how to do this as it would be awesome to have a little cash flow from them. So what are everyones thoughts? I have had a quick search for related posts and saved them.

    Thanks for your help!

    Cheers, Tim

1, Right, lsi keywords work better on google. You may be able to rank a very low comp. keyword (less, than 1M google results) on google but the traffic will be poor.
Sound like there is a lot of competition in your niche and YT will put authority channels in top results... so try to find less niche with less competition

2, Get a fiverr actor to shoot a product review/discovery, solution finding story that converts well... if you wanna stick to animoto videos, make hundreds of them and you will see some results. You can at least do your own voiceover.
But again sounds like there are legit and valuable videos in your niche, so find another one.

Your niche seems to have too high competition. How many clicks are you getting?

Ahh ok, well the ones I have been looking at are how to get your ex back (people have many videos with actual advice), dog training (once again, theres people explaining what to do) and same thing with talking to toddlers etc.
The video I have on at the moment is a 'photography masterclass' one, there has been no views by other people, but I upped the views a little myself. Though looking at some videos it looks like they have been outsourced by fiverr or something similar. It sounds like a really good idea instead of making tons of animoto vids and hoping for the best. At least if I outsource it I'll have a little bit of a chance :)
Ok I have built up a few more questions:

    1) When using the keyword planner, when I type in iphone case (just for example) the words 'iphone 4 carbon case' has only 50 avg monthly searches and is high comp. yet 'cool iphone cases' has 6600 avg monthly searches and is low comp. Why is this?

    2) How many product videos can I have per youtube account? Do they detect I'm an affiliate marketer and cancel my account?

    3) Would it be wise to use Fiverr for someone to do my product video, and someone to add views/likes/comments? Is there anything else I can do to my videos to make them rank good?

    4) How do you search for long tail keywords, would it be better to pay a subscription, or just use keyword planner/ubersuggest. I am using a demo of Long Tail Pro and its not too bad. And when people say to find a low comp niche, is that one with very low gravity on Clickbank, or as in low competition keywords?

    5) On Clickbank if a product shows low gravity and Avg Rebill Total: $0.00 | Avg %/rebill: 0.0%, does that mean no one has brought this product yet?

    Appreciate the responses :)
    Cheers

1, competition is measured in terms of bidding for keywords in PPC, not ranking
2, as many as you wish, but 2-5 is reasonable
3, do that and also backlinks will help (PM'd you fiverr services that I use recently)
