Just recently tried to setup a new youtube account and apparently I have been banned from youtube. Don't know how or why, have not used youtube in over a year for promotional purposes. but I tried to setup different accounts several times to no avail. Is there a way around this?

Try creating a new account from another IP address.

Don't forget to clear your cookies and cache. Use CCleaner and a new IP.

Not good w/ proxies but I heard they suck for creating stable YT accounts anyway. What I do is
as well as use Better Privacy for Firefox which deletes cookies from your flash drive and set up FF to delete all cookies whenever it closes. Take your laptop, or do the same setup w/ friends laptop to library, McDoanlds, Starbucks etc. and create new account w/ fresh email address from hotmail. Maske it something realistic like tomjones85 and register as Tom Jones for name then birthdate 1985 etc. Upload no more than 2 vids at first then you take laptop on the road again when you need to upload another. Another protip is to set up a nice YT account w/ color scheme etc.

Also while you're at it set up a FB and Twitter or whatever else you need to set up when you set up YT account. I've done this several times and no probs w/ needing phone verification. Thing that sucks is you will need to be elsewhere from your home IP address to keep these accounts clean and not traced to you. Otherwise you can buy a Virgin Mobile aircard to log into these which gives you diff IP address every time but these are usually soft blocked and need phone verification so no good for setting up accounts and too slow to upload vids.

If no laptop then save your vids to a flash drive and make visits to your local libraries and use their computers. This is very uncomfortable but do what you gotta till you can get the $300 for a good enough laptop.
