Does anybody know for sure how revelant backlinks are for a Youtube videos rank?

I know it's important for Google but it doesn't seem it is the same for Youtube

Not really for YouTube itself, no. Social shares would be more important.

Youtube considers views as more important metric than anything else. You should have better CTR (from youtube search results), user retention etc. The social shares and inbound links are moderately important. You should also use kws in description and tags for better ranking.
