    I've been using LFE to create hundreds of blogs, sites, etc and had a thought. Why not embed a youtube, revver, etc video onto a blog post and set it to "autoplay". Youtube treats this as a play of the video. I've tried a few already and received plays after I fed the posts out and a few were indexed.

    LFE is linkfarmrevolution.

    He means when posting a video on your blog you have an option in the embed code to make it rewind and play again. I don't know the specifics of how to do so maybe the Op can describe the steps.

    Go to the embed part of the video and add
    Code:

    <embed src=http://www.youtube.com/v/FDgcgESWThw&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0[B]&autoplay=1&loop=1[/B]
    type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed>
    Autoplay
    1 yes, do autoplay
    0 no, dont autoplay

    Loop
    1, 2, 3,...etc
    This is how may times you want the video to replay

    Cheers!

    Genius....thank you for this idea....I can simply have a feature video auto play on my front page on my website...wouldn't that increase views as different people view my website? I can probably even run in in the background with out user knowing and mute the video...

    Ideas?

    It was my understanding that embeded plays do not count. Is that not true anymore? Or is there a way to get around that?

    I have right now about 100 WPMU sites, blogger, blogspot sites setup through Link Farm Evolution, all playing embedded video. Some are my own sites, some are WPMU sites hosted by others. Embedded views count, and also show up in the stats of youtube so you can see which site is playing the most videos. At least, this works with youtube, I have not tested the view count with others.

    I can see right now that blogspot is showing in my traffic and I have not pinged the sites to have them indexed at all. I'm wondering if a SE spider would trigger a video play as well....hmmm....

    FYI I tried a brand new video which went from 8 views to 42 in a day. The referrers are from mostly other sites that I setup with LFE
