I have used various methods like k7, as well as random websites for receiving text messages, but I always get this from google when asking to send the verification code "This phone number has already been used too many times for verification"

All the recent googletube changes have been completely garbage and invasion of privacy...they want your phone number, they want you to sign in with your email instead of username (WTF?), and tons of illogical layout changes...but that's another topic.

Textnow also just doesn't receive any messages.
    Thanks for your help.

If you use a good IP address and a phone number that hasn't been used excessively you should be able to bypass the phone verification. As long as the phone numbers haven't been overly used, phone numbers from pinger, textnow, and k7 will still work. You won't be able to receive the text messages but you shouldn't be asked to verify. Make sure you are entering an alternate email address when you create the account too.
